It was super clean, and big and well decorated and comfortable, plus the service is in the details, the croissants the juice the endless coffee and tea, it was really a surprise.

The Aircon is in the living room and the bedroom gets a bit hot at night, it definitely requires the use of the fan.

The place is large, clean, well-equipped. Very nice hosts. Possibility of free parking in the neighboring streets. If you have a car at your disposal, this is a good starting point for visiting Catania, Taormina, Syracuse, Ragusa, Noto or Etna.

"Good accommodation but the town lacked facilities at the time we visited"

Close to the old castle with views of Etna, and a short walk from ancient olives.

Apartment on 1st floor, steep steps with no handrail. Poor breakfast. Street parking on narrow street in middle of a one-way system in the old part of the town. Driving in Motta is a nightmare because of narrow street and poorly marked one-way system. We went in May and at that time it was hard to find places to eat or shops.
