As the cottage is situated in the hills and surrounded by a forrest, it feels as if you have the whole countryside just for yourself. One cannot describe in words the feeling of sharing the view at night under the veranda. Although the cottage and its facilities are a bit basic, the simplicity adds to the feeling of enjoying an Tuscan vacation. Moreover, the most beautiful beaches are just within half an hour drive. And in case of adverse weather, the town of Suvereto provides a splendid alternative. As a bonus - although a slight bit out of tune - there is actually a piano in the house.

Only downside would be that the house is not air conditioned. However, as the windows at night can be fully opened (having mosquito nets) and fans are available it did not bother us at all. Frankly, we brought our mobile conditioners ourselves and did not use them in the end.
