The Fisherman's Cottage

Property is beautiful, amazing house with excellent facilities. Property has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the landscapes and kayaking. The braai area with complimentary charcoal and welcome wine was a pleasant surprise. Really so worth it.

Our weekend at the Fisherman’s Cottage was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cottage was beautifully designed, with cozy bedrooms and a stunning open layout that made it feel both spacious and relaxing. The scenery, including the private dam with trout, otters, and fish eagles, along with fields of Brahman cattle, was stunning. The staff and owners were fantastic, taking great care of us, and even surprising us with a delicious cheese board and cake for my husband’s birthday. We’re so grateful for the wonderful experience and look forward to returning soon. Highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful and picturesque escape!

Wow. The most beautiful holiday home, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our family had the best weekend fishing on the deck, swimming in the rock pool, kayaking, and enjoying the beauty of fishermans cottage. We will absolutely be back.

I was extremely unhappy with the lack of functional Wi-Fi during my stay. This created significant inconvenience and stress, as I rely on being connected to stay in touch with family. In the event of an emergency, I would have been unable to contact the property owners or even emergency services, which is unacceptable. Although Richard kindly provided a second Wi-Fi connection device, it also did not work. This issue made my stay uncomfortable and far from enjoyable. Reliable Wi-Fi is a basic necessity, and its absence was a major disappointment.
