Amazing remote desert camp. Wonderful staff (Rachid) very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and plentiful. Room was comfy. Expect desert camp. Though it is a long way on a soft sandy track. Not good on a road based vehicle.

Amazing desert experience in Erg Chigaga. The camp is located in a beautiful and very quiet place among the dunes, which makes the atmosphere really special. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the evening in the desert was unforgettable. A great place to experience the Sahara.

Fantastische locatie. We mochten gratis sandboarden op de machtige zandduinen. De mannen maakten zelf een verjaardagstaart voor ons jongste dochter! Lekkere maaltijd! - Onderweg hadden we het geluk een struisvogel te zien die tot vlak naast de auto kwam

Right in the dunes, space for the children to explore and dune surf, food was good and generous. Lovely atmosphere in the camp. The sunrise camp trip will be a lasting memory.

We didn’t realise towels would not be provided for the showers, but this is only a small thing and didn’t affect the trip.

Beautiful location and very comfortable and clean rooms and beds. Bathroom is shared with other guests.

Decent food. Rashid is really lovely. You can climb over many high nearby sand dunes. The camp is nicely made up and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It was cheap and excellent value for money (except the meals - dinners cost well over $50 Australian dollars each and were not worth that!)

I was originally going to give a higher score, but the hassling of me after I left was scary and basically amounted to stalking. I always write all reviews at the end of my holiday, when I have time and reflection space to write them properly. However, from the day after I left I was peppered with WhatsApp messages demanding my review. Then a message of "???" Then phone calls, which I legitimately missed as I was out running or in the shower, etc, followed by messages accusing me of deliberately not answering their calls. It was absolutely horrible. I finally blocked the number. Immediately my phone rang with another Moroccan number, then when I blocked that, another. The awful and unwarranted harassment was totally unacceptable. Many things promised on the booking were not there, such as a private bathroom, cocktail hour, etc. While I don't need these things, they shouldn't say they have them if they don't. You need to bring your own bottled water, drinks, tea bags, etc. The whole experience is over-rated if you've visited deserts elsewhere. There are other camps all around and the desert is not very attractive. Compared to the Sahara in Libya and beautiful desert landscapes in places like the US, Jordan, Qatar, Syria, Iran, it's not worth going.
