"A relaxing, peaceful stay in a quaint village with lovely beach area and a great pub at the end of the path."

8.0

The position of the cottage is great for access to all areas of the village and beach. It is remarkably quiet and the garden was a bonus. The kitchen is well equipped.

For a fairly expensive stay it was surprising to have to vacate by 9.30. In fact we left the previous evening because as well as leaving everything clean and tidy ( which I would always do anyway) we were asked to strip the beds and gather up towels! 11.00 would be more reasonable at this price.

"The Old Post Office was a great place to stay, we very much look forward to returning."

9.0

The location was superb! Less than five minutes to crabbing, the beach and the sea😀. Beach beautiful, clean , unspoiled. Walking in the other direction, in three minutes you are in the Bell 🔔, a welcoming, traditional pub where you can enjoy a pint of Adnams, good food, the hake was particularly tasty. They also offer small plates. A little further on The Anchor has lovely outdoor dining. Walberswick is a very special place, the cottage is perfectly placed for visiting the atmospheric church , brilliant Black Dog Deli and a small co-op. There was a bottle of wine and biscuits on our arrival ( thoughtful touch) , basic condiments and cleaning supplies .

You did have to take care in the shower , not to slip and make sure water didn’t go on the floor. But we managed 😊
