Vendol Lake Resort - Kandy

The staff were so friendly and even made us take away breakfast for our early morning train :) they helped us with any request and were always friendly, the room was clean and spacious.

Some improvement points is the wifi didn’t really work at all and there are dogs barking loudly at night, but the hotel can’t control this. Apart from that, great place to stay 👍🏼

The location is also very prime pretty much near the Kandy Lake. Breakfast was amazing. Also you get beautiful views of Kandy while doing breakfast on the terrace. The staff was also very helpful and kind. They were amazing. Value for money.

Since it's just one year old hotel so some facilities will be missed that you pay for stay in some normal established hotels but that's what you paid for.

La habitación era muy nueva y estaba muy limpia. Pequeña pero con todo lo necesario. Estaba cerca del lago de Kandy, aunque había que subir una cuesta. Las vistas en el comedor del desayuno fueron de lo mejor, se veía todo.

Fueron muy lentos con el desayuno.

Nice location close to the lake and away from the busy streets (although a bit of a hike up hill). Breakfast was generous with a pleasant outlook from the roof deck. Staff friendly. Would happily stay again

Door handle wasn't secured properly but worked well enough to lock. No major concerns.
