Herceg Novi Seaside Retreat with Serene Garden

Fully equipped and clean. Host was very responsive. WIFI good.

Road noise a big problem. Didn’t know the property was absolutely roadside, nothing in the description. A cockroach turned up in the bathroom shortly after arrival, only once to be fair but still… Bed base is very squeaky, old and uncomfortable. Description says serene. Anything but, busy road is a big problem and should be conveyed to renters in description. Open garden with public wandering through and past garden and front door, feels very public. Penultimate day group of travellers pitched up and parked by property overnight. Property is dark and cold. The heater was totally inadequate. However, lovely restaurant and bar nearby, lovely sea view but would rather pay more, for more.

Savršen apartman za odmor! Lokacija je odlična – plaža je doslovno odmah preko puta, a u blizini su pekara, trgovina, ljekarna i nekoliko restorana, što nam je jako olakšalo svakodnevicu. Veliki plus je natkriveno parkirno mjesto! Apartman je opremljen svime što treba za ugodan boravak – kuhinja ima aparat za kavu, kuhalo, mikrovalnu, a tu je i perilica rublja koja nam je odlično došla. Usisavač i veliki funkcionalan TV su dodatni bonus, a tuš je velik i praktičan. Sve u svemu, pun pogodak! Preporučujemo svima. 😊

Jedina stvar koja nam je pomalo smetala su sitne mušice (poput malih leptirića) koje su se pojavljivale i znale ući u odjeću ili čak šalicu kave – ne bodu i nisu opasne, ali znaju biti naporne. Također, vanjska terasa je funkcionalna, ali bi uz malu doradu bila još ugodnija za korištenje. Možda bi dobrodošla i neka ograda ili pregrada kako bi spriječila prolazak drugih ljudi ispred vrata (ako je riječ o privatnom posjedu). Unatoč ovim sitnicama, boravak nam je bio jako ugodan i rado bismo se ponovno vratili! 😊

Het appartement had alles wat je nodig had, alles was nieuw, zag er goed uit en was leuk gestyled. Het appartement bleef lekker koel door de 2 airco’s die het had. Zodra je de deur uitstapt en richting de carport kijkt, zie je daarachter heel mooi de zee en palmbomen die langs de weg staan. Het tuintje heeft een klein zitstuk waar een tafeltje en twee stoeltjes staan, simpel maar prima. De host Sean stond altijd voor ons klaar. Zo viel een keer de stroom uit of deed de wifi het even niet, hij reageerde gelijk op onze appjes en was erg vriendelijk. Heel dichtbij het appartement zit een restaurant/bar waar je lekker kunt eten (vooral de calamari is een aanrader) en wat kunt drinken. Ook zat er binnen een paar minuten lopen een supermarkt en een groente/fruit winkel.

De carport is redelijk smal, wij hebben gelukkig een smalle auto dus dat ging goed, maar ik kan me voorstellen dat het voor anderen erg krap kan zijn. Er zaten wel veel vliegjes (zowel dood als levend) in het appartement, maar dat komt waarschijnlijk door de tijd van het jaar (begin augustus).

Prodavnice, restorani i pekara su na nekoliko minuta hoda, plaža je na nekoliko koraka od smeštaja. Apartman je moderan i opremljen svim neophodnim stvarima. Pohvala za domaćina i organizaciju dočeka.

Ofir's apartments was very special. We found the photos on booking and we loved them from the very beginning, but you never know what you are gonna find... The price was excellent for the period (half August).We found a very modern, clean and equipped house, in everything that comes in your mind. Starting from the home appliances (TV, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, air conditioners, boiler, Nespresso machine). Everything was studied in detail, from the furnishings to the services in the house. We also found the coffee pods at our arrival with the Nespresso machine (we are italian, really appreciated It!). The television (must have been 40 inches) also had a Netflix subscription. We watched a lot of movies in the evening, after returning from the sea. To complete the house externally, which is very spacious internally (there is a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom with a very large shower and a hallway with table and kitchen) there is a spacious table for eating, ample space for drying rack and parking for the car. Finally, the sea is a stone's throw away, with beautiful beaches (a small beach next to them is sandy, one of the few in Montenegro) and a bar where you can drink excellent cocktails and have aperitifs and snacks (I recommend the fries and the pina colada!). P.S. Ofir gave us all kinds of indications, in every moment of the holiday, we never felt left on our own. Thank you very much Ofir, for adding value, with your home, to our vacation in Montenegro.
