Leeds Dock Apartment

Everything you need for a couple of days away in Leeds. Excellent communication when I was an idiot and couldn't get into the apartment.

No TV signal in the living room, but not really an issue as wasn't in any way. Hot water was a little intermittent, and didn't stay hot for more than ten minutes when in the shower.

Nice location. High up. Really helpful host and lovely apartment that feels like a home. Great view across the city.

The location was perfect for our stay, the apartment was lovely and had everything we needed.

It was all good. Nothing we didn’t like.

Good location and proximity to the royal armouries museum

Very dirty and smelly. Plug sockets hanging off the wall and a washing machine full of washing. Not worth the money - avoid!

The apartment is fine. Certainly not luxury in any way. The bed is comfortable and it's close to the leeds armouries where I was attending an event.

The tap in the kitchen/sitting room drips nonstop. In a metal sink. It was infuriating. The plug sockets are all hanging off of the walls. The place desperately needs some attention. The washing machine was left with towels in it on a spin cycle, but the machine itself wasn't working, just making a grinding noise and flashing. I contacted the booking agent but heard nothing back, so I turned it off at the wall. Worst of all, the parking is said to be covered, and I got an email saying it was covered at the local Citipark car park. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS. I was charged multiple times for using the car park during my stay, resulting in £120 worth of fines. When I contacted the agent to try and get a reference number to give to the car park people, I was IGNORED. Absolutely would not recommend.

Location

Communication with host zero, as no responsive. The Washing machine was broken and someone's wet cloves were left in it. I was provided with one towel for 5nughts stay. Heater panels not working(only one of 3was working) No toilet paper, electric fuses out wlthe walls hinging on wires, not sure if it's safe. Property has potential to be called modern and luxury if above mentioned will be addressed. Kind regards, Alex

The location - right by the docks, Tesco and plenty of parking spots and was quiet. The rooms heated up well, check in was easy and there was enough plates, cups etc for one person. When the shower was hot, the pressure was really good and has a big mirror in bedroom

Hot water was timed so most of the time didn’t get hot water, towels weren’t soft and had a lot of white fluff on it - the spare towels made me feel sticky after using them, some of the plates were dirty, front room looks a lot smaller compared to photos, pillows were uncomfortable, WiFi was complicated but had enough data so I didn’t bother the host just used hotspot - Netflix was there but didn’t work? The sound of the show would play but it showed the Netflix logo

AVOID. Dripping kitchen tap which dripped all night. I couldn't use the plug sockets as most looked unsafe (see pictures). Random laundry was left in the dryer. The light flickered in the bathroom. The general state of the property was very poor. The worst part was the host. On arrival, I was told I hadn't read instructions and he demanded at extra £100 fee from me. Despite asking politely for the link, he refused to send and then was patronizing in his responses telling me 'can you not follow simple instructions and complete the security deposit' and 'a simple email link which takes 10 seconds to complete'. He then completely ignored my question about whether her had checked me into the parking and so I was forced to park on the road. It turns out he hadn't anyway and I had to pay for the parking myself. James the host was incredibly unhelpful and just rude. In all honesty, the apartment is run down, grotty and not looked after. I actually was concerned after his rudeness that he might attempt to enter the property during the night which left me feeling very unsafe so I had to sleep with the key in the door turned. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
