The Redlands Secret Garden Tiny House & Koi Lake

It is such a beautiful peaceful vacation stay location.

1) It's really dark and scarry looking at night. They need to at least turn lights on at night in the Tiny home area. Not everyone goes to bed by 10:00pm when on vacation. Please allow renters to enjoy the gem they rented. 2) Being locked out the gate and having trouble getting access to the Lake tiny home I rented for about an hour. My service dog was in my room and couldn't get to her.

I really like the place, so much nature, it was quiet, I had almost the entire place for myself at night and the entire morning. There is so much peace.

The customer service was awful. I asked for early checkin since 4 pm is later that usal and the place is not cheap. They said no, then said yes, and I was there early. They said no again. I waited until 4.then and the room was not ready, 4:30 and nothing, towels all over the room, trash... just dirty. I called the number like 10 times, and none answered. I have to find someone to clean my room, I was with my family waiting until 5:30. There is a huge disconnect from the booking person and the owner. The owner said all was good, and it was not, I was the one waiting. Very uncomfortable situation.

The grounds were amazing. It was a beautiful to wake up to such beauty and landscaping. The main bed was comfy and there was a good set up for cooking.

The property coordinator was impossible to work with. The shower went to high to adjust and sprayed everywhere. The fan could not be used without also having a light on. There was no bedding for sofa. It took 6 weeks to get our refund back.

Amazing scenery right outside your door! Great location between Miami and Key Largo. The room was exactly like pictured! My family loved the cold AC. The door between the bedroom and common area did a great job keeping one area cool with the other area staying milder for those family members that don't appreciate the cold as much.

The person answering for the property was extremely rude. I am unsure what their problem was but I asked about details for getting in and they were upset at me for not having received a text or email from booking with instructions and a video. I told this individual that I had not received any information regarding my stay and they could not believe it. I finally got a video and instructions after the property explained to me how to get into the property. Wifi was down most of one evening. I called and explained that it appeared to be no power to the wifi access point. They told me there was an outage in the area. I explained that was not true that the other wifi access point still showed. I finally got a hold of someone on the property to look into it. It came on 5 minutes later. It was an unplugged switch.

Got excellent information and a video op front to show us how to find our rooms and keys. The location is stunning and a joy to have a morning coffee or just stroll around. Having the cat greet us every day was a top bonus. Everything needed is there, a nice kitchen with hot plates, large fridge and tv that allows casting of YouTube and Netflix. While we mostly walked that garden having the option to just sit and relax end of day is super nice. For European visitors, keep in mind that deposit is made using a few of the local (USA) money apps. We checked in ahead of time and made arrangements since we couldn't use those apps but that's a small extra step. Owner was super friendly in helping out.

These are really minor things, but adding them to make it a full fledged review. Keep in mind that once in a while there might be a wedding, resulting in a lot of music instead of the usual peaceful setting. They do stop around 23:00 though and as such it wasn't a major issue. Shower could have used a bit more water pressure and it takes a long time to get hot. In our room (the lake house) there's was only one small window. If you really need sunlight you might want to double check what room you are in.
