The location was excellent, convenient for local shops, restaurants, and nearby attractions, which made exploring easy and saved travel time. Host communication was clear and timely; the check-in and check-out instructions were straightforward and allowed for a smooth, contactless arrival and departure.

The bed was very uncomfortable that it negatively affected our sleep and overall comfort during the stay. The apartment felt dated (a typical 1990s holiday unit); only the bathroom appeared renovated, while the rest of the space showed visible wear and older furnishings. Insulation and soundproofing were poor: the unit felt drafty and we could hear neighbors and outside noise clearly, which made the space less restful. Given the layout and bed, the apartment would be difficult for elderly or mobility‑limited guests to use comfortably. These issues combined to make the stay feel less relaxing and lowered the overall value compared with expectations from the listing.

Appartement spacieux et propre. Literie confortable. J ai apprecié la séparation de la chambre avec la cuisine. Restaurants aux alentours.

Trop peu d ustensiles de cuisine. Environnement assez bruyant en journée.

Heerlijke accommodatie met een perfecte ligging (ca. 2 km vanaf Funchal centrum). Schoon, ruim, rustig, veilig en van alle gemakken voorzien. Je voelt je er een ware local. Zeer vriendelijke host met vlotte communicatie. Zee, strand en meerdere supermarkten op loopafstand. Bij mooi weer is er een eigen zwembad met ligbedden tot je beschikking. Vertier alom! Tips: Schuin tegenover het hotel start een leuke wandeling (levada), die je bovenlangs Funchal voert 'The White House Pub' (voor een lekker biertje in de zon op het terras) 'A Confeitaria' (voor heerlijke koffie, taartjes en broodjes) 'Local Pub' (voor sfeer en gezelligheid in de avond)

La posizione innanzitutto, poi la discreta dimensione dell'appartamento, la presenza di molti accessori sia in cucina che in altri ambienti. Il discreto stato dell'appartamento e la vista mare. La presenza della piscina seppur condivisa. La tempestività dello staff nel rispondere.

It would’ve been nice to have like a small vacuum or something that could be used during the week as it can get a bit dusty.
