A sleek, minimalistic apartment in a discreet city-center location. The host was professional, responsive, and easy to contact.

The only downside was the 10 AM checkout, which is earlier than the usual 11 AM.

Fab location

It was freezing, raditor in bedroom was off its hinges and leaning against the wall. Very little furniture, not very inviting. No bedding for bed settee when I asked for some it arrived but not ironed looked like it had been used before

The booking process was very easy, and the host was flexible and responsive. The apartment looks like it was recently refurbished and it was very clean. The shower was good and shower gel was provided. Towels were fluffy. Check in and check out were easy. The apartment is close to the train station, and there is a cafe downstairs to get take away breakfast. I didn’t use the kitchen, but it looked well equipped.

I had a terrible night’s sleep here. There was no disturbance from the bar downstairs, but I could hear every external noise, such as people walking past chatting at normal volume. Traffic noise seemed to be amplified and was constant throughout the night. There is a very bright street lamp across the road and the plastic Venetian blinds did nothing to block the light. The duvet was too light weight for such a cold room. There were a few finishing touches that need sorting: the blind tilt in the bedroom is broken, the shower door swings open, TV does not offer terrestrial BBC, ITV etc. Somebody had left dirty washing in the washing machine. External areas were not clean. Overall, I did not find the apartment a relaxing place to be.

The location was easy to find and very central but tucked away and quiet. It was very clean - the apartment in general and the furniture, bedding, towels, all equipment.

Our visit was in early December and the apartment felt cold. There were wall mounted heaters in the living room and bedroom but were complicated to operate. Very cosy in the bathroom with warm towel rail. The duvets for bed and sofa bed were quite thin, perfect for warm weather sleeping but not as much for colder nights.
