Luxury Villa Olivetum with Heated Pool, Sea View & Sauna - Okrug Gornji

We had the most incredible stay at Villa Olivetum – honestly, it exceeded every expectation. The photos looked amazing when we booked, but the reality was even better. From the moment we arrived, it felt like luxury in every detail. We were a group of 8 spanning three generations, and the villa was absolutely perfect for us all – spacious, super comfortable, and beautifully designed. Everyone had their own space to relax, and the layout worked brilliantly for both quiet moments and big family dinners. The location was ideal – tucked away in a peaceful spot, but just a short walk to the beach and restaurants, with the charming town of Trogir and other locations a short drive away. It felt like the best of both worlds: tranquil and private, yet close to everything we needed. The pool was a total highlight – crystal clear water, the saltwater system is exceptional, my niece who can struggle with eczema in chlorine pools was not only fine but improved. With plenty of sun loungers, and just the right temperature for a refreshing dip. We spent hours there soaking up the sun and enjoying the day. The view was perfect for evening sunsets, I'd sit with a glass of wine and just watch the sky slowly dim – it was pure bliss. The villa had everything we could possibly need – modern kitchen appliances, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and my personal favourite: the outdoor oven! We cooked up some amazing meals and loved eating outside in the cooling evenings. Everything was spotless and so well maintained, and the host was incredibly helpful – always available if we needed anything, but never intrusive. If you're looking for a luxurious, peaceful getaway that works for families or groups, I can’t recommend Villa Olivetum enough. We’re already dreaming about coming back!

... Going home.. But seriously here was very little to dislike or want improving. I would highlight that the walk back from the town did have some steep inclines that could prove a discomfort for the elderly or unfit, but this is pretty standard for Okrug Gornji and not specific to Villa Olivetum

10/10 - Outstanding quality villa equipped with the high end Top Brand appliances, fittings, luxury bedding, bathroom toiletries & towels, exterior furniture sun loungers & towels and a very sophisticated heated power swimming pool, and BBQ. I never award 10/10 but this Villa deserves it for all aspects and benefits from a short walk to the nearby stone beach via a side gate on the property. It is a private gated secure property with a double garage and fully fitted gym and sauna on lower level and has a child safe playground area. Antonia and her husband are fantastically friendly informative hosts and could not have been more helpful from start to finish of our stay. I highly recommend staying at this Villa and look forward to returning in the future.

In no way a detraction from the Villa’s location - but the island’s roads are narrow, and most do not have pedestrian footpaths, making walking at night a possible safety issue, but there are good local / Uber taxi services and a Tommy supermarket close to the Villa – easy safe walking distance as too is the beach from the Villa. Property development on the island is prohibited from early May through end September and is not an issue for main season travelers.

Absolutely beautiful villa. Huge, beautifully finished and very well fitted out. It had everything you could ever want for your holiday - even a gym and sauna although they were not used too much given that it was mid to high 30s most days!. Large,light, airy and air-conditioned rooms with beautiful outdoor patio area and swimming pool with stunning views across the sea. It absolutely matches up to all the photos you will see online. Antonia, the owner was an absolute delight to deal with and nothing was too much trouble.
