Studio Apartment.Mombasa, Kenya

The host (Anna) was very friendly, always reachable, very helpful, and so accommodating. She made us feel very comfortable on arrival. The apartment is also centrally located, so it's easy to access most facilities in Mombasa CBD. The room was spacious, and was beautiful for the most part, with a beautiful dressing mirror, for those who love to look good!

The apartment could use more kitchen appliances and better bedding(which I voiced with the host, and she promptly said she would work on it). There also seems to be some sort of cockroach infestation, and the host promised to check on that as well.

Pictures aesthetics doesn't match the room and furniture. Maybe it is time for a renovation? I guess so.

The location was very convenient. The host was very nice and friendly, and the housekeepers were very nice.

It got a bit noisy due to the close proximity to the road. However, I am a deep sleeper so it didn’t bother me much when I fell asleep

The host was quite accommodating and very patient with us.

Honestly, nothing

The host was very friendly and responded to queries in good time. The room was mostly clean but could be better. The area was relatively quiet at night despite being close to a road. It was also very easy to access public transport.

Some of the storage areas of the room were not clean, specifically the fridge and some drawers. Furthermore, there was no running water in the morning on two days during my stay and I had to wait quite a while to get water which was brought in a bucket. This was inconveniencing because I had early morning commitments. There was also a power outage in just my room on one occasion but it was promptly sorted out.
