Moshi Tukutane Kilimanjaro View Homestay near KCMC

Sam, the owner of the place, is just the nicest guy - who also makes a great breakfast! We had a really nice time staying at Tukutane and also did a daytrip to the hotsprings with Sam, which was just the best. It is a little bit expensive for a daytrip, but I would not miss the opportunity to visit this amazing place. If possible visit the hotsprings on a week day, since it can get a little full on the weekend. From the property of the homestay you can see the Kilimanjaro if the weather is clear. If the clouds clear up, they usually do so in the morning or in the evening, so if we would not have stayed at a place with direct view of the Kilimanjaro, we would not have seen it at all.

Sam is a fantastic, helpful host with lots of tips for people new to Tanzania and Moshi. He prepares a big breakfast and also showed us to how cook pilau. The homestay is very new and modern with a garden, big kitchen, living room and view of Kilimanjaro. I can only recommend it !

The location is calm and green, with a great view on Kilimanjaro, even during breakfast or dinner, if the weather is good. Breakfast was delicious. Welcoming and helpful host.
