Cliffside Lagoon Villa

We had a two-week vacation with my wife at the villa in March 2026. The real experience of the villa turned out to be even better than our expectations. The very hospitable hosts Jan, Kung and Nit were always nearby or in touch, but at the same time we felt quite isolated. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Fully equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms. All the furniture in the villa is very comfortable and ergonomic, and the two outdoor shower rooms are a delight! The surrounding area has a beautiful landscaping, everything is surrounded by flowers and tropical greenery. The singing of birds and the sounds of the rainforest surround you. We spent a wonderful time relaxing on the sun loungers overlooking a small lake and a tropical forest. Swimming in the private, clean pool was a great pleasure at any time of the day and in any weather. The dishes of Thai cuisine prepared by Kung and Nit on our order deserve great admiration. There is a Super Chip shop within walking distance from the villa, where you can buy everything you need. You will need a car or a bike for a good rest. The beautiful beaches of Klong Muang Beach and Long Beach with Thai massage and restaurants right on the shore are a 10-minute drive away.

I really didn't want to leave, two weeks passed very quickly.

Die Cliffside Lagoon Villa ist ein unglaublich schöne Urlaubsunterkunft. Die Anlage ist unglaublich groß und parkähnlich angelegt mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf Bäume und Berge in alle Richtungen. Das Haus selbst ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bei der Ausstattung aller Räume, sowie der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Die Bäder sind unter freiem Himmel, sodass man sogar von hier aus den Ausblick auf die Natur um sich herum genießen kann. Den Pool und den ganzen Garten hat man völlig für sich. Lediglich die große offene Küche im Außenbereich wird auch durch die Gastgeber Nit, Kung und Jan genutzt. Hier werden einem auf Wunsch auch diverse leckere Gerichte gezaubert. Nit, Kung und Jan sind absolut außergewöhnliche Gastgeber, die es einem an absolut nichts fehlen lassen. Wir konnten Empfehlungen für mögliche Aktivitäten in der Gegend bekommen und wurden sogar netterweise diverse Male durch sie mit dem Auto mitgenommen Richtung Ao Nang und zum Landmark Night Market. Als wir kein Grap bekamen, um zum Dragon Crest zum Wandern zu fahren, wurden wir sogar dorthin gebracht. Verabschiedet wurden wir von den dreien mit einem kleinen Geschenk und als wir leider ein paar Dinge auf der Terasse vergessen hatten bei der Abreise, haben sie sich sogar darum gekümmert, uns diese zuzusenden. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur aus tiefstem Herzen empfehlen ❤️

Man muss wissen, dass es nicht direkt am Strand und an den touristischen Hotspots gelegen ist, was uns aber gar nicht gestört hat, da man überall schnell mit dem Grap (Achtung vorbestellen, da in dieser Region scheinbar nicht so viele unterwegs sind und man sonst lange wartet) oder wenn man möchte mit dem Roller sein kann. So kann man abseits vom Trubel gut entspannen und ist trotzdem schnell überall.

Ich bin kein Bewerter und Schreiber. Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft schön und die Gastgeber mit keinem Geld zu bezahlen.Einfach buchen und sich selbst ein Bild machen.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur 1 Min. zu Fuß entfernt. Bei Fragen und Problemen könnt ihr Euch jederzeit an die Gastgeber wenden und für jedes Problem gibt es immer eine Lösung. Wir sind absolut begeistert von der Sauberkeit und der extrem großzügigen Unterkunft. Alle Wünsche werden umgehend erfüllt.Auch die herzliche Aufnahme möchten wir nicht unerwähnt lassen. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung mit kurzen Wegen zum Trubel und Aktivitäten sucht ist hier genau richtig.Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder.

On est arrivé au paradis un 24 décembre. La maison est superbe. La vue depuis le salon-cuisine est magnifique. Nos hôtes ont été tellement adorables et chaleureux Les repas que vous pouvez commander étaient délicieux . Nous avons passé le 31 décembre ensemble, un moment très sympa.

I don't have enough space on this review to say all the nice things I want to share about this villa. I absolutely LOVED every single thing about this place. The views, the home, the hosts, the pool, the food, the entire stay was an absolute DREAM!!! Kung made meals that we couldn't stop eating. The pool was spotless clean, the property was perfectly maintained, and the views of Dragon's Crest was breathtaking. Jan was an incredible host with so much helpful information, and his partner Kung was SO sweet and perfectly accommodating. We spent more time hanging out at the villa with them than we did at the tourist attractions! The property is incredible, it's in an excellent location and it had everything we needed for our week stay. There was such unique decor in the home, the view from the front room was amazing with the flowers and the birds. I could probably write a book about everything I loved, here. Just book it. You won't regret it.

I didn't like that we only got to stay for our trip, and we couldn't stay here forever. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this home, and everyone should experience something so special as this place.

From the moment my adult son and I arrived at Cliffside Lagoon Villa, our stress levels reduced as we relaxed within this quiet garden oasis. With each of us having our own bed and bathroom, we were able to reconnect (we live in separate countries) on the immaculate grounds as well the spacious family room. Our hosts were always available when we might have desired their assistance yet invisible when we sought to enjoy this paradise which they meticulously maintain. Being fortunate to have several travel experiences, never have I had an entire pool and surroundings grounds to myself. Not having to listen to other people's children can be quite soothing. Never had I been made to feel more welcome then I was at Cliffside. Not only were Nit, Kung and Jan friendly and personable, they were generous with their schedule, getting us to one of the excursions we had selected. We look upon them more as friends then inn keepers. Be it a family with young children/teens, an extended family seeking a small reunion, friends seeking to enjoy the Land of Smiles in a calm, quiet setting away from dozen of others, I am confident no other establishment can provide you the tranquility which Cliffside Lagoon Villa can.

If I were to find fault with Cliffside Lagoon Villa, it would be that my days there were too short. Certain that if I had requested of my hosts to somehow create a 28 hour day, rather than tell me that they could not achieve this, I would be told that they will do everything they can to accommodate my request.

Owners were very welcoming and accommodating. Always prompt with replies. They really are A+ Villa itself is immaculate and spacious. Pool is big and water is warm. Garden is very well maintained. Good location - not right on Ao Nang doorstep but less than 10 minute drive - perfect. I could go on and on. Will definitely be returning for my next visit.
