North Star Hotel Pictured Rocks

Location was near the local attractions. Honestly, that's about all I'd say is worthy of recommending. Staff was OK, not particularly service-oriented, but not bad. In-room small fridge was nice.

Room was very basic, kind of cramped, and only had one chair and no other place to sit comfortably. Thin carpet, very scratchy towels and just very little comfort. The breakfast was poor for a hot breakfast. Scrambled eggs tasteless and grainy, and no hard boiled available. No breakfast meat except sausage gravy. Very few options for fresh, tasty food. For late September, this was VERY overpriced. Nearly $200 for a place that wasn't much better than a motel 6.

Checked into this quaint hotel on our way through Michigan. Hotel was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was comparable to what our previous hotels gave us for breakfast. If I was traveling through this town and needed to book stay - I would stay here again. :)

Very clean, nice people, was surprised the hotel was not actually in Munising but not that far of a drive. Really enjoyed our stay.
