The villa looks good, very clean and comfortable, the garden is beautiful.

One day we didn't have electricity, another day there was no water. The location is far from anything, no beach around. The WiFi is zero, you can't even send a text message on Whatsapp and Telekom has no signal there. Only cash payments, and if not in Euro, the exchange rate is huge at the property.

The attitude of the owner towards us was not acceptable. Telling us (after asking if it’s a problem arriving late at night) we can come whenever we want and there is always somebody around. We arrived with two small kids after being challenged by the very bad road towards the hotel and nobody was there to open the door. Phone call in the middle of nowhere was not possible. We have been screaming for help because we really have been scared. After a long time the owner came out, not even telling he is sorry for what happened. Simply no reaction. He told me before laundry service is available for a „very affordable price“.Very affordable was than approx 20 euros for one maschine because you pay for every single pice. We therefore went to the village and a local lady washed for us. She was very very happy for what we gave her (20000 shillingi), this is a lot of money for a women with a baby depending on her husband only, having a house with no furniture. So we gave her work, she was thankful, we have been thankful and we avoided the so overpriced service from Fukuchani Inn. We ate only once in the restaurant. We did not like the food at all. During waiting we heard the microwave all the time, the fish was so dry, no visible sauce and 10 fries for my husband and plain rice for me. Price expensive for what you get, but actually I would not even pay half because it simply was bad. If the owner is not around no cocktails possible or you explain the staff how to do it. We went to kendwa, nungwi and matemwe every day, where you find very good restaurant, check reviews on google. The area is quiet we liked this and the pool is nice as well. The staff is nice but don’t expect good service from a European point of view. But to be clear. This did not bother us. Also the problems with electricity was not a problem for us. We are in Africa and I know about all the problems there as I used to live there for two years doing voluntary work. Our problem was the attitude of the owner!

Big pool, good food, clean, nice staff. We stayed in a villa which was very spacious. Very near you can see the turtles and old fort. The village is simple and interesting. The place is little bit remote which I liked.

The food portions were somehow small although the food was good. There was dog hair everywhere although the dog was very nice and liked kids.

We arrived after midnight but we were met. We haven't checked the closest beach. We rented a car, and in most cases spent days on Kendwa Beach that's amazing and quite close - 15 mins on a car. The owner is very friendly and we even felt like family. Of course, it is up to you. The restaurant is nice with not an expensive menu, But there are no normal tables, only low ones like a coffee table, but it was ok for us.

During our recent stay at this villa, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Vladimir, who proved to be a truly great host. He went above and beyond to assist us with various aspects of our stay. The accommodation itself was impeccably clean, and the breakfast served was quite enjoyable. However, it's worth mentioning that there was a slight misunderstanding regarding the pool. We initially believed it to be a private pool, but it turned out to be a shared facility. While this didn't significantly impact our stay, it's a detail that future guests should be aware of. To enhance the overall guest experience, it might be beneficial for the property to clearly communicate the pool's shared status in their descriptions. This way, guests can have accurate expectations from the start.
