Quirky cottage set in Clitheroe

The interior is gorgeous and the host Darryl, is so helpful and kind. Such a lovely peaceful stay.

The staircase I think needs a stair gate. And the garden/bin area very unkept. Possibly a tv upstairs in the bedroom.

We loved how beautifully decorated it was and how comfortable. Great location just a few minutes walk to great bars and restaurants such as Holmes Mill. Owners left a lovely welcome package of milk, bread, eggs , coffee which was a nice tough.

Couldn’t fault this place - it’s perfect!

Lots of space, my children loved the ‘man cave’ downstairs! Very comfortable and spacious bedrooms, and the whole property was immaculate. Beautifully decorated and so much better value than the hotels in the area. We were provided with toiletries, some bread, eggs, milk, coffee and tea, which was also a great added bonus. The property is in a great location with lots of shops and amenities close by, and parking was very easy too. The host was communicative and answered any queries I had prior to our visit. He also provided us with parking options and all of the other info we required prior to our arrival.

There was no hand soap in either of the bathrooms, and my son hurt his foot on a screw that was poking up from the strip underneath where the door closes in one of the bedrooms (the one on the left coming up the stairs). There is also a pub very close by with quite a noisy karaoke! I’m sure if we closed the windows it would have been much quieter, but we did keep these open as it was quite warm.

Would be nice to have some outside space but wouldn’t put us off staying again

The owner has done an amazing job with the property - it is beautiful! They left breakfast for us, which was a nice touch. The sofa was comfortable, the bedrooms were well decorated and the bathrooms were very stylish.

The front bedroom is right on a road with several pubs, meaning we were awoken a few times by people walking past or shouting outside the window. There was seemingly damp in the ceiling in one of the bedrooms - not a huge issue for us and we didn’t notice it until the second day.

Great location. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. Host left us milk, bread, eggs, tea n coffee. A lovely thought. Would definitely stay again n recommend 100%.
