Stayed at the Quirky cottage set in Clitheroe with 3 other mates for our friends wedding evening. What an beautiful cottage, pictures don't do the property justice - definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in/around Clitheroe. Great location - around 5/10 minutes walking distance to Holmes Mill, where we all went for a Sunday roast. 2 minutes walk to the nearest car park which also isn't overly priced (Lowergate Car Park).

Although we found someone's left over food in the microwave (from either cleaners or previous occupancy) they were quick to call round to remove and give it a quick clean up. Definitely didn't ruin the lovely stay that we had at the property.

We booked The Quirky Cottage as a very last-minute add-on after staying elsewhere the night before for a family wedding and honestly, we couldn’t have chosen better. From the moment we arrived it felt like a hidden gem, full of character and charm that instantly put us at ease after such a busy weekend. Everything had a thoughtful touch, from the cosy layout to the little details that made it feel like more than just a place to stay. It was spotless, welcoming, and so different from the usual “standard” accommodation exactly the kind of spot you want to stumble across and then tell everyone about afterwards. One of us who stayed is an influencer, and he was so impressed he's already created a video tour which will go up on TikTok (@benjamin_johnston) so keep a lookout!! It really shows off just how unique and inviting the cottage is, and we know it will inspire others to visit too. If you’re looking for something memorable, comfortable, and just that little bit special, The Quirky Cottage is the one. We only wish we’d booked it sooner!

Easy enough to find. Nice pub next door. Comfy bed and good shower

Coffee provided didnt taste great. But that's a personal choice I suppose.

The house has all the amenities needed .

Storage space is limited in the bedroom . There are no fixed coat hangers on the wall or door. These would have been very useful.
