Solace Apartment, Oslo Downtown

Joli appartement, calme et assez proche de la gare. Personnel disponible et agréable.

The location was central with all amenities close by. The size of the living room is perfect.

Comfortable apartment, close to City Center, it had all we needed + markets, coffee shop and many more within 200m. Munch Museum, Oslo Opera, Opera Beach, Oslo S (Central Station), ferries to islands - all within walking distance of ~1km.

The owner is a nice person, always answering in a maximum of 15 minutes. The daytime was hot, so I requested a fan from the owner, and it was at my door in the evening... I must say the owner keeps the things nicely and in detail required for stay... i must recommend them; the location is very easy

I could not find anything wrong.. my stay was good...

Location was pretty good. 25 min walk to opera house/ cruise area, 30 min to castle, royal palace etc. Nice balcony w view of warehouse type building Spacious 2 rooms w ikea sofa bed in living room. Full kitchen. Washer dryer a life saver. Didn’t see any public laundromat Utensils and pots pan were enough and nice. Dishes cups :-). Oven. Microwave. Full fridge. As eating out in Oslo mucho $$$, being able to cook saved big $$$

Only had laundry detergent for one load. Was told to go buy at market. No biggie as was only $3. Only saw 1 bath towels. We searched every nook and cranny. Didn’t bother owner, Will just tell me go buy at store. :-( Blinds/curtains could’ve been better, more blackout type as rooms were pretty bright throughout night. Never felt unsafe but Friday night brought out a few sketchy folks.

It is a one-bedroom apartment with a large open space living room with a kitchen, which can accommodate up to 4 people, 2 on an extensible sofa. The building looks a bit worn out, but the apartment was as advised, very clean and comfortable. The location is also very good: walking distance from the Central Station and very close to the Barcode Project, the Munch Museum, the Opera, and the Deichmann Library. There were enough toiletries, clean towels, toilet paper, a little coffee, teabags, etc. It was easy to collect the key, and the staff was very helpful (we were not used with the Norwegian temperatures, and they provided us with an extra heater).
