Damodar River Retreat, Uluberia

The location of the property is excellent. My kids enjoyed the play areas and the swimming pool.

We noticed a few safety issues which should be addressed. There's an open drain near the receptiom area where my son fell while taking the turn. He got badly injured. For the elderly and small children, an open drain can be a risk area to walk around. Also, to access our room on the first floor, we had to climb up a steep flight of stairs which didn't have any hand rail. The stairs ended in the room and there is no barrier. We found it very risky for our toddlers. Another issue was the slow service at the restaurant. We placed order at 8pm for dinner to be served at 10pm. Even at 11pm, dinner wasn't fully served.

Distance is bit far from Uluberia Railway Station!!

Location, professionalism, facilities.

Pricing for garden facing room of 10 by 10 ft with no chair, small bathroom is Rs. 6,000. Also food price is costly. Signage to property inadequate.

There was a Rat in the room...needed to be removed by the staff
