Modern Lodge with Amazing Views

It's a beautiful Lodge and extremely clean, with everything we needed while on our holiday. I went with family and we all liked it alot and were impressed with how much space we had. My son loved the huge TV and the mood lights. The dog liked the very close field to the Lodge where he enjoyed his walks. Overall it is a lovely place to stay and very comfortable with modern furniture. The lady was available at all times and when I texted her she responded quickly. The Lodge is located in a nice part of the park and we felt it was in a great spot. The view was very nice and only a short car ride to beautiful beaches.

The pool on site was a bit basic but my son liked it, it's free to visit which is good. The pub was great and had very friendly staff working there. I didn't like having to text the owner when we wanted the heating on as I feel when you're away, it's nice to be able to put the heating on yourself when you feel a bit chilly. The weather wasn't great so we just would of had it on for an hour in the mornings. We did receive a message to say when we wanted it on to just ask but it's something I'd rather not do as I felt a bit of a nuisance asking. The heating is controlled remotely and it's not something I've experienced before. Although, I must say the Lodge felt fairly warm and it wasn't needed except while getting dressed and having a shower.

Daisy's way of communicationwas not polite , she was very controlling.. Wish I could put up the messages, when asked to increase the temperature. Not allowed to touch the heating. Bathroom towel radiators all off though it was cold and raining. Felt like we are staying free of cost. On requesting to increase the temperature as felt cold ,the messages were rude, like its my home not hotel , but we are paying for our stay. None of the towel radiators were on, as it was raining one of the days ,daisy refused to put on the towel radiators and asked us to air dry them . I have reported to booking .com . We have taken pictures of the property on leaving just incase. Customers should be treated with respect. Daisy is trying to save electricity, ispite of us paying a good amount. We were personally very scared to touch or use anything, had a panicky stay. I did speak to the staffs in Newparren, they were good, and helpful, the swimming pool was good.. Thanks

All good but quite expensive

The twin bedrooms were tiny There was absolutely no soundproofing and you could hear everything going on in every room even just whispering ..Not a property for groups or anyone wanting to sleep . The whole lodge shook when any door was shut

The accommodation was just perfect, clean, comfortable, with all the little extras to make the break great

We Really enjoyed our stay at the Lodge, the property provided everything we needed to make a home away from home. The location is quiet and the site provides a heated indoor swimming pool which the kids loved.

A critique we have was with the mattress in the double room, was a little bit uncomfortable but didn’t get in the way of us sleeping through. We rated the cleanliness lower through no fault of the owner but the cleaners missed some bits that we thought should be on point for a property of this standard and cost.

The property exceeded our expectation. It was modern, very spacious, all amenities we needed are present, located at the end of the street so we had good privacy.

The pillows are too thin and soft to my preference. The mattress could have also been firmer but this depends on your preference.

The location of this lodge was great. The site was nice and quiet and the lodge itself was at the end of a road overlooking open fields towards the Bay which made for amazing views! The lodge had everything we needed for our stay and more! The photos really do not do this place justice as you cannot fully appreciate the size until you walk in. We were 4 adults 1 child and a dog and we had so much space. We would definitely look to book this lodge again and 100% recommend to others! Great communication from the host who gave clear instructions on collecting the keys and what was needed on check out etc.
