Disney Magic at Jiminy Mountain

We loved the Disney them and comfort of the unit. It had everything that we needed during our stay!

We were in a suite decorated in Disney theme throughout. The rooms were smaller than we had thought and had our fourth member joined us, it would have been very tight quarters. The room was was fun. There was a large assortment of games and DVD's.

The bottom drawer on the dresser would not close properly. One of the bifold doors in the closet was off its track. Central heating unit was located in the bedroom, which got really hot, while the living room was lukewarm. Dry heat no less. There was no ventilation in the bathrooms and a weird sign in the bathroom said to close all the doors otherwise the steam from the shower would set off the fire alarms throughout the resort. The kitchen counter stools were kind of difficult to sit on and hard.

The resort was beautiful. Activities were very family friendly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was definitely Disney, but please see what we didn’t like about the property below.

The owner loves Disney, however whoever is handling property maintenance is not doing a very good job. My husband I came up here for a weekend visit to see if this would be a good skiing spot for the family and love the idea of staying at a Disney themed room, unfortunately we won’t be staying there again. Walking in, the entry floormat was old and stained and I know this has nothing to do with the owner, but the hallway smelled of pot. Upon entry you can see that the cleaners do the basic dusting and vacuuming but everything just seemed dingy and not kept to standards of the photos. The dresser furniture is broken. Drawers in the bedroom and kitchen did not close. There were many items that were broken.. The black fur blanket in the bedroom had some substance on it. The air conditioner did not have a wall thermostat but there was not one. It was loud and kept us up most of the night.

The decor was beautiful, especially for the children. I loved that they had coffee and candy for guests and they also left a stuff animal for you to take home.

It wasn’t too clean.
