Location was good. The property managers were extremely helpful and friendly.

There is a very noisy restaurant next door. Sound travels up and very noisy until 1 am. The bathroom is teeny tiny. No air conditioning which was awful with the heat in Porto. No comfortable seating in the apartment. No cable or Netflix rendering the TV pointless. No toiletries. You have to take out your own garbage. The sink is a bathtub faucet with no way to fill sink with soapy water as no plug. May be fine for one night but not for an extended stay.

Terrible experience !!!!! Do not rent. The apartment did NOT meet our expectations at all. It is tiny, the kitchen offers little room to move, the bathroom is on the small side and has a foul smell from the pipes. In addition, the water pressure is low, the bed is not comfortable, and there is limited storage space for clothes. The room gets incredibly hot and you can't sleep because of the light and the noise from the hallway that comes directly into your apartment through the massive gap between the wall and the dome of the building. This is not the way to rent out an apartment!

Wenn ich allein für unseren Gastgeber Punkte vergeben könnte, wären das glatte 10.. Super hilfsbereit, freundlich, großzügig und schnell reagierenden auf Anfragen. Top! Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung war exzellent und die Lage ist auch gut. Man kann alles was man braucht zu Fuß auftreiben. Die Wohnung ist zwar nicht direkt im historischen Zentrum, man kann dieses aber zu Fuß in einer guten Vierte- bis halben Stunde erreichen.

Unser absolutes No-Go zuerst: Im Bad hat es extrem nach Kloake gestunken. Nicht falsch verstehen, das Bad war absolut sauber. Ich vermute einen fehlenden Geruchsverschluss bei der Dusche. Es war so schlimm, dass ich wirklich kurz vor dem Würgen war. Ich schätze mich als normalsensibel ein. Glücklicherweise war an einem Tag um 8 Uhr morgens das warme Wasser alle, da ging das Duschen besonders schnell.🙂 Nächster Punkt:: Fehlende Ablagemöglichkeiten. Wir waren zu Glück nur drei Tage dort, hatten aber immer Probleme, Sachen ab- und wegzulegen. Sitzmöglichkeiten waren nur zwei Holzstühle in der Küche,,wobei einer davon schon angeschlagen war. Zum Schluss muss ich noch erwähnen, dass die Wohnung recht laut ist. Der Straßenlärm geht bis in die Nacht, mit Gehupe und laut die Motoren aufdrehen lassen..Auch ist es ursprünglich keine Wohnung gewesen, sondern vielleicht ein Dienstmädchenzimmer. Man hat dann den Zugang zum Treppenhaus mit einer Art Bretterwand zugemacht,aber oben eine Lücke frei gelassen. Könnte mir egal sein, wenn man bei Gesprächen im Treppenhaus nicht den Eindruck bekäme, die Diskutanten stünden in der Wohnung. Fazit und Empfehlung. Den aufgerufenen Preis ist die Wohnung nicht wert. Aber selbst kostenlos würde ich sie nicht wieder mieten wollen wegen des Gestanks. Achten Sie bei det Anmietung unbedingt darauf, nicht das Zimmer im Dachgeschoss zu nehmen ( Nummer 6). Es ist mit den Fotos nämlich sehr schlau gemacht, man könnte denken, man bekäme ein größeres Appartement. Wenn man dann bei der Auswahl nachschaut, stimmt es. Juristisch ok, aber wie gesagt, man muss aufpassen. Natürlich kann es das Geruchsproblem auch in den anderen Zimmern geben, das weißich nicht. Vielleicht vorher einmal nachfragen.

Slecht bed matras is echt aan vervanging toe !!!! Geen kast om kleren op te hangen ??? Waarom niet ? Geen beloofd balkon en geen gordijnen dus weinig privacy . Veel trappen omhoog dus voor niet geschikt voor oudere mensen. Voor de prijs had ik wat meer verwacht . En zet geen tv erop als die het toch niet doet !!!!

The apartment is located next to the center of Oporto, only a few minutes’ walk to all the main sights. Many options for eating and dining too right next to the apartment. The apartment itself is located in an old building with typical decoration from the area. Pedro and Sandra, who managed the various apartments, were very friendly.

The main issue we faced during our stay is from the noise. We did check previous comments regarding noise from the streets, but finally the main source of noise was from inside! Avoid the apartment nº4, located on the 2nd floor – right hand side, as the noise from the people staying in the upper apartment on the 3rd floor was just unbearable. The wood of the floors is crackling noticeably, and just next to our bed there was a cracking noise every time someone from the 3rd floor was moving. And oh god, did they move all night and early morning. On the other hand, they were not screaming or having a party, just walking in their apartment, which shouldn’t lead to this type of noise if the apartment was properly restored. Just by looking at the windows and doors you can easily understand why it is so noisy. Our 3 nights have been unpleasant, even with earbuds.

La luminosité de la chambre. Bel espace avec parquet et plafond décoré. Très bien situé.

Joli appartement agréable, cependant plus petit qu’il n’y paraît sur photos et assez central

Pour nous le gros point négatif est le bruit incessant venant de la chaussée - toute la nuit - comme il faisait chaud nous devions laisser la fenêtre ouverte et impossible de dormir sans bouchons d’oreilles… Dommage !

Location was perfect, outside the busy city centre and just a couple of blocks away from a lively square. You can walk everywhere and still stay in a quiet street. The room itself is beautiful with a complete kitchen -which we did not use- and a stone balcony. It is very well decorated and looks cozy and warm.

The bed was too hard but that may be just my preferences. The bathroom is tiny, which is ok, but it could use some thingies to leave your soap and toiletries bag.
