Nepal Village Family Stay - Authentic Bandipur Experience

Sehr schönes Zimmer im Dorfzentrum. Milan und sein Bruder sind extrem freundlich und geben viele wertvolle Tipps. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Bel emplacement, au calme. Rester dans un family homestay permet de savoir à qui va directement l’argent. Milan et sa famille sont très accueillants. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et préparé avec des produits de leur ferme.

La chambre était très très basique, petite, les propriétaires ne nous ont pas prévenus en arrivant qu’il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude courante. Pour plus de 20 usd la nuit en saison creuse, c’est exagéré.

Absolutely loved this place, we had amazing breakfast with amazing views from the rooftop every morning, and our host was so friendly and helpful. Location was perfect too, we had a really great time. Thank you for everything

Milan, Sumon and Sima are slowly setting up a lovely family stay experience in the pictoresque Bandipur. They were very kind and put a lot of effort into the preparation of meals and spaces. They also arranged transportation to get to their home in the middle of the night. Extremely recommend this local stay!

Comfortable room and nice breakfast made from local produce. Seema and Suman were so lovely to chat to and taught me some Nepali. (Their sibling Milan works to empower the local community.) The views from the room are amazing and it's a peaceful location as vehicles aren't allowed on the main street. It would've been nice to stay longer to relax more!

Tips / heads up for others - you have to remind the bus driver to stop at Dumre Bazar! And it's not unusual to find bugs inside in Nepal. (This occurs at all times of year, apparently.)

We had a lovely stay, the host was so helpful. We did the Momo making class which was fun and interesting!

This was my second visit to the homestay and this time I got them to arrange transport from Dumre to Bandipur, which made travel much easier. The host Suman also organised a very enjoyable trip for me to visit Samastipur which is the 2nd highest suspension bridge in Nepal. Bandipur is worth at least a 3 night visit as it has much more to see and do around the area than I realised! Since my last visit the family has done a lot to ensure their homestay experience gives back to the wider community in Bandipur through the other activities and tours they offer. Impressive breakfast using local produce.
