Rose of Trawangan Private Villa

Pool was great. Shower and kitchen were nice. 10 litre fresh water tap. Hammock was lovely.

Microwave makes the power cut. The aircon wasn’t the greatest.

Pool was clean and staff were friendly upon arrival.

Aircon did not work properly as it was faced directly at the front door meaning the cool air was going straight out the room leaving you to sweat the whole night trying to sleep.

Good location, not far from beach, restaurants etc

I have stayed in Gilly T before and the price for this place is simply not worth it, nor is it a 4 star. Very poorly managed and terrible service. There are much better places for cheaper. This place is not a good representation of what Gilly T has to offer. Luckily this is not my first time to Gilly T, but if it was, I very highly doubt I would ever come back. Do not waste your time and money with this property. Breakfast is not included as advertised, some bread and eggs are left in the fridge, that is not ‘breakfast included’. To make it worse, it took them 3 days to get gas for the cooker so we couldn’t even cook breakfast anyway. The breakfast food that was provided, was not replenished daily, but you’re expected to let the bread keep you going for the full stay. Finally after a complaint on day 3 and the bread had gone hard, they decided to drop off some more bread. No cleaning, fresh towels, replacement toilet paper etc provided - until you complain. Fresh towels and place finally cleaned after 3 nights. I’m told by the owner as it’s a ‘private villa’, that means you’re suppose to do that yourself, yet there’s no facilities, equipment or accessories to do it yourself. And at the price we paid, this should be a bare minimum service provided - clean towels and toilet paper is not much to ask for, is it? No hot water in one of the rooms. Told by manager they don’t have time to do maintenance because they are that busy. AC in room is very poor meaning during the day the rooms are almost unbearable No iron or ironing board, finally provided after 3 nights and a complaint, told previous one had broken and again they are that busy they don’t have time to replace. Only one key for external door meaning if you’re in a group with a two bedroom villa, you all need to ordinate your plans for access.

The area & the guy that welcomed us in was lovely

There was cockroaches all in the bathroom& one of the rooms door wouldn’t lock so therefore we had to keep all belongings in one room & 3 of us had to share a room as didn’t want to sleep in a room unlocked

Location super central easy 100-200m walk to the main strip. Hosts super responsive and helpful in organise anything we needed. Overall loved our stay.

Loved the set up and feel of the villa

Very helpful and friendly staff/owner. Looks better in person than the pictures. Nice big rooms, clean and very close to turtle beach. Lots of amenities were provided (stocked kitchen to make breakfast, bathroom essentials, etc).
