walking into the building the entera ce was very clean and tidy. We entered ou apartment and it was so lovely the room was a decorated to a very high standard and the room and the paintings on the wall have a feeling of calm. the kitchen was more than acceptable and very well equipped and clean. the bathroom was spotless and the shower was very spacious. the courtyard garden was peaceful and a lovely setting for relaxation. the bed was very very comfortable. thoroughly enjoyed our stay the location was perfect 5 mins to the cathedral. would definitely go again perfect for us .

Beautiful property in a great location literally a few minutes walk from Bootham Gate and York Minster. Roger & Louise couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating allowing us to check in early, gave us some great advice on places to see/ visit, eat etc & gave us a late check out. We were visiting for my wife’s birthday & they had even brought her some flowers & a lovely bottle of Prosecco which was completely unexpected & so kind. We know where we’ll be staying if we visit York again and will not hesitate to recommend The Boutique Garden Studio to anyone. Thanks Roger & Louise

A very small critique - not a great amount of natural light.

the outside space was a lovely for a city break

My partner and I had such a lovely time in York, this property was perfect. The decor was beautiful and the bed is huge. The garden is really pretty and lovely for getting some air whilst sitting with your morning coffee or for lunch and cocktails. Kitchen has everything you need and the shower is wonderful. Roger and Louise were very welcoming.
