Suite Bagnara- Ortigia Holidays

Location was good. Outdoor area grand. The Host got a outdoor umbrella for us which was brilliant. Nice bright apartment. Had a Washing Machine which was a bonus for a 11 night stay. Bus stop across the road

Stairs abit of a nuisance at times. Abandoned building with alot rubbish nearby a eyesore. Didn't bother us but looks untidy. All in all though a good stay

The location, not far onto the island, made all areas easily reached, and also reduced the walk from the bus/rail station. The immediate area isn't the most scenic, but even without a view, the terrace is a great asset, and we used it a lot. Just be sure to close the door if you don't want cats in the apartment". The apartment is light and spacious. Though you don't meet them, the managers were responsive and helpful.

There are some quirky design ideas, some of which work better than others. A mirror in the bedroom would be a great addition. Water pressure (as others have said) is weak, though this is an island-wide challenge - it's compounded by a very large shower head, so try tilting the head to reduce the number of holes.

The place was very well managed. The location was great with easy access to car parking. Safe, cozy and tastefully renovated traditional house. Wonderful bathroom and exceptionally clean apartment. Right next to the market, where you could have a great breakfast.

Our apartment was located on the second floor with street view overlooking buildings, which need renovation. Still charming, but the next floor apartment was with view of the city - much better to have.

This suite is located right at the entrance of the old district of Ortigia, making it convenient to walk to any part of the island. The staff of Ortigia Holiday Properties were very helpful and provided us with detailed and practical information needed for our stay. The suite is on the second floor of an old building, but has been completely renovated and well-maintained. The interior decoration is very tasteful, and the biggest highlight is an unparalleled terrace where you can enjoy breakfast surrounded by greenery and accompanied by a few adorable wild cats. Highly recommended for anyone looking to spend a relaxing and enjoyable vacation in Ortigia!

The apartment's design is lovely

But unfortunately, it's let down by poor maintenance. Despite its charming aesthetic, we encountered cleanliness issues during our stay. While the host was responsive, more consistent upkeep is needed for a truly enjoyable experience.

The appartment was just perfect for us three. I stayed there with my husband and my father and we liked it so much that we extended the stay immediatly once we arrived. The flat is loacated just next to the market so everyday we went and bought food there or ate there. The host was super helpful, we were able to checkin way before because we arrived unexpectadly early. Everything was just great, I would definitly book this flat again when going to Ortegia.

There is NOTHING I didnt like! Since we stayed there for a while and we also wanted to cook for ourself for three persons there are quite minimal selection of cooking utensils, (plates, cubs etc.) and a good cutting knife.

It worked well for our family of 5.
