I liked the space and the location near everything. The house had a homely feel.

I didn't like the refrigerator making noise all night

We loved it was a new construction and everything in the house is brand new we couldn’t have been happier with the house

Not really much to like here. The home is well-built but that's about all there is to it. You have to climb a slippery flight of stairs to get in. Even though the listing mentions that you can access the garage, the host will send you a message that you cannot on the day of your arrival.

This property has a variety of problems - the biggest being a super-rude host who does not respond to requests in time and when she does, is extremely rude to the point of being offensive. I am writing a much more detailed review in response to the offensive replies the host has sent since I mentioned a few shortcomings. 1. We booked the home for a vacation in the summer and the home HVAC was set to heating at 85. It was super hot when we entered and took about 4-5 hours to cool down. Since we came in late at night (we mentioned our arrival time during booking), this led to problems with sleeping on the first day. 2. The booking mentions free toiletries very clearly. Unfortunately, it appears that they do not understand that toiletries are primarily bodywash, shampoo, handwash etc. which were missing from the property. Their excuse - they do not provide these since people have allergies/choices. If people have allergies/choices they will carry their toiletries- your job is to provide basics so that someone doesn't have to waste their holiday time finding these essentials. Also the host keeps replying this is mentioned in their listing - I cannot see this anywhere. Perhaps booking.com does not show amenities listed as not provided and the host is not aware of this. But she did reply that I do not know how to read. 3. Beds - typical low-quality spring beds. I know vacation rentals are not expected to provide plush expensive ones but these felt like some of the cheapest ones I have had to sleep on. 4. Apart from all this, the home is not well maintained - there was some dirty liquid in the trashcan, washroom doors didn't lock, small things are broken around the house (window blinds for one). The home has a board hanging listing it for sale - quite obviously the host does not want to spend any money on performing any maintenance. TL:DR - inconvenient, offensive host, lies about amenities

Very disappointing experience. The host was extremely rude and unhelpful. The listing promised free toiletries, but there wasn’t even hand soap provided. and the stove didn’t even work. Worst of all, I was promised a $300 refund which was never issued. Would not recommend staying here.
