Do not book this property. This is not the same apartment showing on the pictures, Apartment looks nothing like it is advertised, the sofa is not the same in the pictures the sofa has dog hairs and filthy marks all over, it also had food from previous occupiers still on it, the carpet has been laid by a non professional and is full of trip hazards for elderly people looking to stay here, the back bedroom floor slopes in to one corner there for you will be laying at an angle / upside down when lying in bed, this will be the reason only 1 bedroom is showing on the pictures, the entrance is pitch black with a concrete spiral staircase also not suitable for older persons. When we asked for a refund due to the circumstances we only got refunded 1 night although we did not stay at the property at all, we got discriminated against for “yous are only builders it’s only somewhere to get your head down at night” so builders don’t live in clean accommodation ?, this review can be backed up with photographs, all we wanted was a full refund and we would have walked away happy.

Convenience of location. Spacious. Good shower. Good heating.

First impressions was a very old musty smell as you opened the door. On walking through the apartment we found the sofa was absolutely filthy, stained, old and even if it had been clean enough to sit on (which it wasn't) it was very uncomfortable. On doing the 'bed test' we found both of them to be very uncomfortable with squeaky metal frames every time you turned over. Not much sleep was had!! It's a pity. If the host was to spend a few hundred pounds on a decent second hand sofa and divan bed bases then it would probably be an 8 out of 10.

the 2 flights of spiral stone stairs, no mention of them when booking TV no access to standard channels

Everything you needed was there. Right in the heart of the town centre..Arthur the owner was very helpful, and a very nice man and host. Everything was brand new, we were his first guests.
