Nagypince Borhotel Wine and Spa

Szép helyen van, az épület és a szobák is rendben igényesek.

A klíma nem működött a szobában. A matracon nem lehetett aludni olyan állapotban volt. Borhotel létére szegényes borválaszték, a ház boraiból egyszer nem ajánlottak, minden bolt polcain megtalálható hétköznapi borokból állt a szálloda kínálata. A medencénél egy darab napernyő van, amitől a sarokban levő hordó és növények vannak árnyékban, de egy db napágy se. Személyzetként egy hölgy volt, aki egymagában a recepciós, étteremért felelős, takarítónő és a medencénél lévő fröccsterasz pultosa is, ahova fel van szerelve egy csengő, ha valaki rendelni szeretne és kijön a hölgy, természetesen ez a csengő nem működött. Kibéreltük a quadot egy órára, de üres volt a tank ezért inkább visszamentünk a szállásra 20 perc után mintsem megálljunk a semmi közepén több km-re a szállástól. A tulaj reakciója az volt, hogy menjünk be vele a faluba a benzinkútra és tankoljunk bele 2 ezer Ft-ért… Inkább letettük a szállason 20 perc után amiben az egyhelyben állás es a telefonálgatás is benne volt, hogy mit tegyünk az üres tank miatt. Persze időarányosan még így is többet számláztak ki a quadra mint amit használtuk…

I was forced to cancel my initial booking because of an illness on the day of arrival. The property made no objections and allowed me to change the date. Thank you!

Cleanliness: hair + dirt in the shower, see photo. Bottles of bathroom amenities were open and half empty. Curtains were dirty. Staff: during dinner + breakfast, noone asked us for drinks. One staff member had a constant cough and was chewing bread while standing at the counter during breakfast. Food: very poor quality for dinner, whipped cream on one of the desserts was off (it tasted awful). Room: electric boiler installed in the room (not in bathroom) and "hidden" behind a wardrobe - never seen anything like that in a hotel, see photo.

The hotel, and location is beautiful, extremely peaceful and I can imagine in the spring and summer, really perfect. The girl who tried to help us was extremely kind and tried to help

There are many things wrong here. firstly, do not trust the location on google maps or your Sat Nav. There are no signs to help either, the only solution is to call the hotel. We booked a Deluxe Room with a Bath. The room was dirty, there were bugs and flies in the room (The owner claimed I opened the window to let the bugs in!) I moved a piece of broken furniture and there were dead bugs and cobwebs under the furniture. The girl moved us rooms immediately with no issue. The new room was clean, but did not have the facilities the hotel promises. The evening dinner was very poor, to be fair, the owner refunded us that cost. The reception is dirty, floor mop left on view, The dinning room is huge, great for weddings, really awkward for just a few diners. Breakfast is ok, but little choice. This is not a 4 star hotel, not even close. The owner claimed he was free to discuss with me, however, he passed me on the stairs without a single word. After I complained to booking.com, I received a very unprofessional email.... Be warned, this is NOT a Spa

The hotel is a modern building with some traditional elements (wine cellars etc.) The staff is available throughout the whole day and they offer wide variety of wines and extra programs. The spa and wellness section is very nice. It is a great place to spend some relaxing time with friends or as a couple.

Food options weren’t that wide, and sometimes by the time we got to the diner some of the options were already out.

in general, this hotel has potential but during our visit everything was very unprofessional and of poor quality. We don‘t recommend it. - incorrect address in booking platform / no road signs - poor/inconsistent breakfast - no room service (stayed 7 nights) - fresh towels only on request - tiny bath - unprofessional staff - TV not working - AC only fan working but no cooling - 1 night no water/electricity - loud party music in unusable „wellness area“ - strange atmosphere (almost zero other guests) - overall very disappointing for a very high price
