Location of this Hotel is great and near to big shopping mall. Breakfast is absolutely OK with a great variety in choices.

The location of the hotel is ideal for walking to many different restaurants. It is also nicely located for people needing to do work at the Show Grounds as you avoid traffic getting to and from work. The staff are friendly and the airport shuttle is reliable.

The restaurant has disappointed me for 3 consecutive stays. Dishes like curries and pastas have been sent back for being excessively oily. One can literally fill table spoons from the dish with oil. This has happened twice. The meat served can sometimes be tough. Fortunately the hotel is close to many other restaurants. When checking out it was clear that the staff had insufficient training in checking out visitors. It took me more than 30 minutes from when I was helped until I was actually done. The receptionist kept making mistakes having to redo the invoice and was unsure how card machines worked. I was disappointed that no colleagues jumped in to assist when they could see it taking a long time to get checked out. A hold was placed on my card when I checked in, and it had not been lifted 4 days after I had checked out after having paid in full, meaning one can run into some cashflow issues when your accommodation is effectively charged twice. I also could not find a direct email address for this hotel on the Booking.com app nor the Protea website. A Zambian colleague had to phone to get me the email address. This was my third business visit to the hotel but the experience has not improved over time.

Location - close proximity to restaurants and shops. Staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly and will always go that extra mile.
