Hello Airport Hotel, Katunayaka

The location was excellent - Just a quick ride from the airport, which made it super convenient for my layover. The check-in process was smooth and the room was quiet and comfortable.

We liked the property due to its location to the airport and the tuk tuk rental we had to return. It was clean and comfortable and cheap for its location in comparison to others. The location for meals was tricky, however you can use Uber easily. We went to the Jazz lagoon which served ok food and good beer. We got a uber to the airport which was a reasonable price and picked us up fairly quickly. I liked how it provided all the essentials for the low price like shower gel/shampoo. Hand soap, toilet paper, and if you wanted a kettle or hair dryer you could get one on request.

Noise from the road, it was ok for one night but wouldn’t recommend staying there for longer.

I stayed here before flying out on an early morning flight. Perfect for my needs - close to the airport, comfy beds, clean rooms and friendly staff

The bed was comfortable and the air con worked really well. The room was clean.

We had to ask for a key to lock the room and the lock and door handle were about to fall off. We came straight from the airport and were given no water upon arrival, not even to purchase. No toilet roll available in bathroom. We told staff we would be checking in late but still needed to wait a while until they arrived. This was ok as it was late, but just a warning for those flying in late.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even preparing us a beautiful breakfast and serving us tea. We were so pleased when the owner drove to Colombo to collect the key that we forgot to return, even though it was our mistake. The room had all the necessary amenities and met our expectations perfectly. Great hospitality and a wonderful introduction to the country!

The facilities and amenities were well matched for the price we paid

The property is conveniently located on the main road, making it easily accessible by both public and private transportation. While there aren’t many dining options nearby, we managed just fine using tuk-tuks at night with the family. There's a restaurant and a pool right across the road, offering a nice spot to relax. The rooms were clean, and we had a good night's rest—provided you're not too sensitive to the occasional plane noise from the nearby airport.

A couple of things to note, there was no bottled drinking water provided, it was very hot and we got some water from the shop across the road. The TV channels were all in Chinese, so the kids weren’t too entertained.
