Hello Airport Hotel, Katunayaka

Nice staff!

It is next to a highway and the traffic runs 24 hours a day. We couldn't sleep at all. The rooms are not sound proof.

Pro's - Close to the airport, clean, attentive, helpful friendly staff.

Con's - Hotel is on a busy road, so there is road noise. Rooms are new but still have a strong smell (maybe paint). Ceiling is low in rooms, so a little claustrophobic in my opinion. Light in courtyard outside of room is on all night and there are no curtains to block it out.

A nice small hotel with a very convenient location if you need to fly out early morning. Friendly receptionist, helping with arranging the transport to airport.

Far from just an airport hotel. stayed 1 night yet we could have stayed 2 weeks. The best hotel and hospitality we’ve had so far in Sri Lanka. We were even brought coffee in the morning before leaving. The guys running the place couldn’t be any nicer and even helped us in getting money changed for the taxi as of course the taxi driver didn’t have enough change. We loved it so much we’re staying again the night before our flight home. 10/10 would and are staying again 👍

Nothing to dislike.

Awesome new hotel near the airport. Its brand new and the bed +pillows are so good. Its so quiet (ofc sometime you can hear a plane) and confy. I recommend anyone who need to go to the airport or coming from the airport to book a room here. Its secure and good wifi. The manager was very helpful with direction and the staff was welcoming. Thanks again its exactly the kind of room we needed after 2 intense weeks in Sri Lanka. All the best

Very clean and lovely place just next to the airport. A lot of living plants and nice atmosphere. Everything looks brand new and very good quality. Clean bedding, proper mattresses that don't give backache. And tasty food too. Thank you so much! Very highly recommended place. Good luck!
