The apartment was clean and really comfortable.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this property was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The listing photos and description were very misleading. What I found on arrival was nothing like what had been advertised. The entire place felt unclean and poorly maintained. The moment I walked in, there was a musty, unpleasant smell, and it was obvious that proper cleaning hadn’t been done in a while. Dust was visible on surfaces, and the floor felt sticky underfoot. The bathroom was in terrible condition. The shower had visible mould, and the towels provided were tiny and looked worn out and unwashed. The kitchen area was equally bad, with dirty dishes and a greasy film covering the stove and counters. It honestly gave the impression that no one had checked the apartment before guests arrived. The heater and television were both broken and completely unusable. I contacted the host, and he/she said that it was automatic and that they would turn on during the night when temperatures fell too low, but it sure seemed like they didn’t. To make matters worse, the air conditioning came at an extra cost if used, which I found absolutely unacceptable. I’ve never heard of that in any other accommodation before. With the temperature dropping at night, it was very uncomfortable to stay warm without a functioning heater. The bedding situation was the final straw. The bed sheets and pillowcases were clearly stained and smelled unwashed. I contacted the manager, who did come by to replace the pillowcases, but the pillows themselves still looked dirty and unchanged. It made me question the overall hygiene of the place, and I barely slept that night because I didn’t feel comfortable lying down. Communication with the host was also frustrating. While they eventually responded, their tone was dismissive and unhelpful, and they didn’t seem to take the issues seriously. There was no apology, no compensation, and no effort to improve the situation.

Excellent location, 5 min walk from trams to centre (only 2 stops) next to a spa for picking up bits. Clean and comfortable, and quiet - perfect for our family trip. Restaurants nearby if you do not want to head to centre, with a great choice. Wonderful communication with host.
