Drumfearne Guesthouse & Tearoom

I didn't pay for the bus. I'm 73, & had a bus pass. I used it to get to Campbeltown, then I waited there for 2 hours & 15 minutes for the next bus to Carradale. (that's why the question about the price paid, above is not relevant).

I couldn't find a local pub in Carradale. I still don't know if there are any at all ? I usually visit a local pub to find out more about the town or village that I'm staying in from the regulars from the area. They can usually help with details of any music venues, book shops, or any other things I'm interested in.

Very comfortable stay . Evening meal was delicious & beautifully cooked breakfast in the morning.

Exceptionally good evening meals, excellent porridge,excellent cleanliness, comfortable beds ,attentive and hard working hosts. Great location and first floor room. Homely atmosphere !

Ground floor room a little too cramped for unsteady mature person (ie me!).Upstairs room better for extended stay as it was more spacious and brighter. More healthy choices for breakfast would be nice ( e.g. fresh fruit, salmon,non fried eggs)

The Guesthouse is gorgeous. The room and the whole house are wonderfully furnished, very clean, with a great eye for detail and everything one might need. The bed was comfortable and cosy. Joanna is an excellent host, very cordial and always ready to help. And Vitold is a star cook. Every meal was so delicious. We would for sure book again next time we come to Scotland.
