Incorrect address on Booking.com so I was inconvenienced as I took an Uber The correct address is about two kilometers away although the owners are well aware of this I was not informed in advance

The host arranged that we could check in early, which was greatly appreciated. The apartment is very close to Menlyn Mall and Menlyn Maine.

The place was not clean. We found cockroaches everywhere, even on the bed. This place needs a proper deep clean. (I took this up with the host and he promised to have the place inspected 🤞) There is very little attention to detail and the place looks different from the photos on Booking.com. It is a mix and match of different items of furniture and accessories and curtains that don’t fit the windows. There were not enough towels ( and one was dirty). The extra towels arrived well after 9pm. (It was apparently left at security but they didn’t know about it when we asked earlier the evening ) This could be a very nice place to stay if it’s clean and nice looking.

The apartment had a damp smell The bedding was discoloured The curtains are too long for the windows and look like they have never been washed I felt uncomfortable and unsafe, I left as soon as I saw the place.

It was a fairly good place. We were traveling with our 16 years old disabled daughter who's using a wheelchair. Only to find the lifts to our room were not working on our arrival. So my husband had to carry her on his back to the 1st floor. Thanks God they made a plan for us to be able to get to the ground floor the following day. 🙏🏽
