There is no elevator and guests must walk up stairs to reach their rooms. Guests driving to the property are kindly requested to call the property directly in case there is difficulty locating the property. Breakfast is not included in the price for children staying in extra beds. To eat breakfast at the hotel, a reservation must be made in advance. The property offers a free pick-up service from Happo Bus terminal and Hakuba Station. The traditional rooms & onsite Onsen were amazing. Futon beds were comfortable and warm. The friendly and helpful staff exceptional! Fantastic hospitality

location was fabulous. the staff were super friendly and helpful. food is delicious. the room is spacious. on-site onsen was a big plus.

Great ryokan! Nice breakfast and room condition, and especially onsen is the best. We were only guests in our stay, so they provide private onsen. It was very special experience.

Great spot for a solo traveller to relax before conquering a mountain the next day. English-speaking workers who greeted me with kindness and nice conversations. Also provided recommendations for places nearby to eat and a possibility for a Tsugaike ropeway discount. FYI, it is only a few mins away from the bus terminal which is great too. Onsen was small (can fit maybe 4-5 folks?) but it wasn’t busy at all when I went! I was allowed to go in with a tattoo as it’s a “less busy” time, so it should be ok. I added breakfast with my reservation which was also great (though there was a huge pot of rice that one person can definitely NOT finish!) I also got to leave a bag with them for a night as I went and hiked for a night in the mountain & didn’t want to lug all my stuff. All in all, a fantastic stay - thank you for everything!

It’s about a 20 minute walk from Hakuba station. However they did mention I could have called and requested for a pickup - oops!

We stayed here before/after hiking Mt Shiroumadake. Incredible and beautiful location and Ryokan. The staff were super nice and very helpful. Highly recommend the dinner at the Ryokan, it is a delicious traditional japanese meal.
