"Absolutely amazing place, amazing people and atmosphere!"

Everything about this place is magical, from the location directly on the beach, to the AMAZING staff (owner included). I traveled alone and they made sure I could count on them for anything I needed. I couldn't recommend this place enough, truly a gem. I will definitely be back next time around as well! It has been amazing

"A really nice place to stay, but could have been so much better if the property was maintained better."

Location was lovely. The pool was beautiful. Ocean swimming was good. Quiet and peaceful place. Lovely outdoor furniture. Limited menu at the restaurant, but the food was delicious.

The sink tap in the bathroom was literally falling off which in turn had leaked into the cupboard underneath and rotted it. General maintenance around the place needs improving.

Breakfast was fine. Choice of two items. Location on the beach is great. You would need transport to find the place. Using Google Maps leads you to the door

Eventually a greater choice of meals

"Amazing hotel with beautiful view and cool staff."

The property is beautiful and you can see the ocean from the room. The staff was extremely kind and friendly, the wifi was very good, and you could even drive your scooter on the black sand in the sunset. I would gladly return.

"Small villa complex, right on the beach. Quiet with few tourists"

Loved it. Not a tourist place. Very quiet. Delicious breakfast. Very clean and tidy. Good air con... great pool. Lovely staff. I felt like I was in my own private paradise. It's a bit far from Melaya town, so you might need a scooter or a car to get around. There is a warung on the beach but they charged me double because I am a tourist

This place is excellent except for this one thing... apparently the bore for water was not drilled deep enough and therefore the water in the bathroom smells like sulfur/rotten egg. After my first shower I didn't want to shower there anymore and because it's an indoor bathroom, the whole room stunk. I would have stayed longer if not for this issue. I wasn't sure if I should mention this because other than that smell, it's beautiful there and I loved it but I think it's important for others to know and to make an informed decision
