Everything was just wonderful. So clean. Great amenities. Awesome location. The view was beautiful.

There wasn't a thing we didn't like. In some reviews, people complained about all the stairs and the steep walk down to the accommodation, which honestly nearly made me change my mind. I am so glad I didn't because the stairs wasnt nearly as bad as it sounded. The walk down was broken up with ramps as well, so the portion of actually carrying your bag was very minimal. The front patio was uncovered which was probably the only part I could pick on. However I've since seen the patios have now had covers installed which would make the accommodation completely perfect. If we found ourselves back in Taupo we wouldn't hesitate to book this accommodation again!

Spa could have been hotter

The lake view is absolutely stunning, and the room itself was clean, warm, and very comfortable. Communication with the staff was excellent—they responded quickly and were always helpful.

The room is located downstairs with a few steps, which could be a little tricky on rainy days with heavy luggage, but otherwise it was manageable. The only small point for improvement would be the upper loft in the second bedroom, which could use a little extra attention with cleaning.
