I would 100% recommend Hepi Yuk Guest House to anyone travelling to Ubud. We had already spent a month in Bali, by the time we booked in to Hepi Yuk, and to say that it was flawless is an understatement! The hotel room was ultra quiet (definitely the best nights sleep we both had during our time in Bali), the bed was really comfortable, the air con was super powerful and it was all really clean (there were no ants whatsoever!). The staff were all lovely and friendly, and they would always go above and beyond to help us out. The breakfast was delicious, we had the pancakes every morning and they were so thick and fluffy, with loads of flavour - I would look forward to breakfast before I went to sleep at night! We loved our stay so much at Hepi Yuk, that we returned again later on in our trip.

The bathroom smelt, but this is the case everywhere in Bali. However, the doors to the bathroom at Hepi Yuk are solid enough you don't notice it in the hotel bedroom and the aircon is so powerful that it is effective at removing the smell. Also, I always found in Bali, that after using the facilities, the water would flush through the pipes and the smell would eventually go.

I booked the wrong room, but the staff was very helpful and offered us to change the room. It is very clean, modern, comfortable big bed. Nice balcony with a great view (nature) and a lot of privacy. The room was cleaned regularly and we were offered fresh towels. We felt very comfortable so we extended the stay. Near to the night market, everything reachable. We visited a different waterfall everyday (short ride with scooter). Laundry service available. Scooter rent available.

Very clean, comfortable, the staff is super nice. The shower has good pressure, the view from the room is beautiful.

Everything is new and comfy. This was my first time staying in guest house instead of hotel, and it was nicer than the hotels i stayed in Bali. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have kitchen, great and affordable food; best fried banana i tried.

The room was very clean, all the staffs are super nice and we had a really good time there!

The manager and staff are lovely , they go out of their way to be helpful , always someone at reception. The room is in a new extension to the hotel, it was great to have a new comfy mattress, big twin beds, new sheets , modern bathroom. Quiet room even though on main room

The property is about 15 mins out from the main streets of Ubud. There is often a lot of traffic getting in so expect delays. I stayed in both the family room and the double room. Both are lovely and newly built so the bed sheets are fresh and it feels really nice. Bathroom is also lovely and clean. The staff are lovely and really will do their best to assist you in whatever you need.

The only thing that wasn’t perfect is the hot water for the showers. In the family room it only stayed hot for about 5 mins so only 1 person got to have a hot shower. It was freezing after that but certainly wasn’t warm. It was the same in the double room.
