Bijoux Shepherds Hut Lyme Regis

The place felt very remote and isolated although being so close to Lyme Regis. The aesthetic and general decor of the cabin was exceptional and very well done, it was comfortable and convenient. The added bonus of a log fire and toasting marshmallows, although we didn’t use, adds to the charm and small thought out details of the stay. It was our first time coming to Dorset and we will most certainly be coming back and staying here again!

Not an issue but as it’s close to the road you can hear some traffic at night.

Good private location close to owner of thr hut and regional activities. Facilities in the hut were of good quality and it was well equipped. Walked into town and to local beaches. Would visit again.

It was super cosy and warm. We had everything we needed for our stay. It was cleverly designed with limited space, with a luxurious feel. Loved the bathroom.

Lyme Regis is lovely. The hut was clean and well appointed.

The hut was advertised with free WiFi. It seems there is only 5G WiFi available. We could not access it. The contact, Emilia, was unhelpful, unresponsive, and unapologetic. The hosts left no information about where to put waste. We cooked in the hut and had food waste. By day 2, we needed to be able to dispose of it. We had no place to put it and given Emilie's lack of support on the WiFi issue, I didn't bother writing to her. Other places which have been more affordable had much better information, a must better welcome and much more helpful hosts. The guaranteed WiFi should not be part of the advert, the information pack needs significant improvement, and the contact person should have the time and energy to respond. It was a bit disappointing because the location is great and the hut is well appointed.

As we stayed for seven days, The composting toilet could of been emptied a bit more frequently.

Quiet, private setting. Cosy accommodation. Clean. Good mattress.

No outdoor seats except picnic bench. The compost toilet was malodorous. Shower did not operate consistently, a few times there was an error light and only cold water. No reply to messages sent to the mobile number given. No welcome pack. Inadequate lighting.

The location was fantastic, lovely accommodation and we had everything we needed. Thank you.

The weather, it rained a lot whilst we were here but luckily the accommodation was so cosy we didn't mind that much.

We stayed here a few weeks ago and honestly had the most wonderful time. It was so clean and had everything you needed!! The bathroom blew me away - especially the sink! It really was stunning. Easy to find and just the perfect setting. Thank you again for our stay

Very nice place hidden in the trees. Some good facilities. Cozy and good for chilling. Lovely walk by the river to get to Lyme Regis.

Had no wifi also no toaster. Needed more lights on the steps we had to use our phones to see, need some sensored lights
