1 Bedroom City Centre Apartment Near The University & Bodleian Library - By Spencer & Jackson Short Lets & Serviced Accommodation Oxford

I came to Oxford for classes. I was pleasantly surprised that the apartment is exactly as advertised. It was spotless, comfortable, and in a very central location. Everything looked brand new to me and very modern. I could walk everywhere. All the appliances I used were functioning perfectly (stove, microwave, fridge, Iron, toaster, heating...etc). I did not use the washing machine but appreciated that instructions were provided in case I needed to. The host was very responsive and nice. I tried to book it again for my October classes but was unfortunately unavailable. I totally recommend it. And I would absolutely stay there again.

Nothing really ! I enjoyed my stay. I would only recommend adding a bigger Ikea clothes rack in the bedroom to the hang the clothes more comfortably.

I found it difficult to cool apartment but the city I believe was having a patch of unprecedented warm days

The place is very close to everything. Within a short walk we were in the centre of Oxford, or in a nature park. The apartment itself was very nicely set up with nice furniture and a good size (for the UK). It was also impeccably clean. Dealing with the administrator was quite easy.

Considering that we were staying for 5 nights, more than 2 rolls of toilet paper, two small tubes of shower gel and one set of towels would have been nice. No cleaning or towel/linen change is done during the stay (I think it is mentioned when one books). We went to a nearby Tescos and bought more TP and shower gel . There is a small frame to hang some clothes, but no wardrobe, so most clothes had to remain in our luggage bags. When the sun was shining (we had a couple of glorious days), the 2 rooms become very stuffy, since the sun shines directly on them and there is no airconditioning. The wording used in the welcome pack to warn guests against noise levels and parties is quite ominous, since they mention some Minut equipment that monitors activity and that guests are not allowed to have guests. I messaged them to clarify that one can have visitors, which they confirmed. Still, the wording could be clearer and a tad more welcoming.

Communication with the accommodation host was also excellent. They were prompt in responding to any queries I had and ensured that I had all the information I needed for a smooth stay. Their timely communication gave me peace of mind and added to the overall positive experience. Cleanliness is paramount, was pleased to find that the room was impeccably clean upon arrival. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness did not go unnoticed, and it contributed to a sense of comfort and relaxation throughout my stay. As for the facilities, they were perfect. From the amenities provided in the room to the common areas, everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully designed to enhance the guest experience. Location-wise, the apartment couldn't have been better situated. It was conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to explore the city without any hassle. Additionally, being within walking distance of various attractions and dining options made it incredibly convenient to immerse myself in the local culture and cuisine. Overall, my stay exceeded expectations in every aspect. Booking.com facilitated a seamless process, the hotel staff ensured a comfortable and safe environment, and the location made exploring the city a breeze. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay in Oxford.

Location very close to city center and transportation. Apartment itself was nice and, especially for one person, spacious.. Host was very kind and responsive every time I reached out to her.

I was on first floor and noise from stairways and floors above was noticeable, although noise died down by 10 pm or so. Also, lobby and stairways had a bad odor, which may have been caused by rubbish not being picked up

I was here for a week doing research in the Bodleian. Ample room, nice decor, everything worked well. Comfortable bed, decent shower for a UK shower. Hannah was extremely responsive. I felt safe as a single female traveler. Only 3 minutes to the grocery and not more than 8-15 min from everywhere in the city center. Will definitely stay again and recommend to my academic friends!

It would have been nice to have a French press or pour over coffee maker- something other than instant. No other complaints- great stay!

The host is super nice & responsive. The apartment is new, clean & comfortable. The location is excellent, 2 mins walk to Westgate.

Very clean & tidy . Right in the city centre , so close to shopping / school/ scenic spots / parking lot. Can all be walkable distance . Has balcony door fr the living Rm & fr bed room, can leave it open when the weather is hot. Kitchenettes are just good, washer & dryer with hanging rack & iron is just perfect . Fridge is good size & function well.

The mattress is way too sagging, hope the property management can replace a much more firm mattress, end up I sleep on the sofa bed instead. The sofa bed is comfy. The shower drain is a bit clogged, takes a while to drain all in the shower.
