Great communication. Easy check-in. Excellent location for me wanting to visit my old college, Magdalen. Cowley has a wide selection of restaurants and I highly recommend Arbequina for tapas. We were impressed by the incredible value for money, the comfort and all the amenities, especially the coffee machine. A few minor things that could be improved but I would definitely stay here again.

It's important to know in advance that the road and pub outside are loud. Earplugs are provided but we didn't use them and we weren't bothered, but others may be more sensitive. A minor nitpick is that the lightbulbs didn't all have the same colour temperature, and the lighting in the bathroom could have been warmer—easy fix for the owners should they choose to and the bedside and floor lighting were enough to make the room feel cosy.

Uncomfortable bed and extremely noisy. Heater didn’t work either

Fantastic location and just 10 mins walk to the city centre. Comfortable space with sufficient facilities. Bonus points for the coffee machine in the kitchen!

The washing machine might be faulty. There were no instructions on how to use it. We tried to wash our laundry one time and it was stuck on washing mode for an hour and we didn't quite know how to make it stop. Also it might be a bit noisy because of the thin walls but I personally do not mind a bit of noise from outside. The properly kindly provided some ear plugs though if anyone needed them.

Great location, spotless, very comfortable. You can tell the host is experienced as she has thought of everything. There were so many extras - games, loads of towels, plenty coffees, tea bags, milk etc, kitchen cleaning supplies, toiletries and more

Property was humid. Many of the blinds were broken so couldn’t be opened to allow fresh air into the room. Curtains also couldn’t be opened as they were fixed on each end.
