Hooper's Sandy Beach Guest Rooms

The room itself was far better inside then the outside of the building.

The bed was very soft and none of the windows opened so it was stuffy.

Room was beautiful, very comfortable bed . Amazing view of the beach . Comfortable sofa to relax on and look at the views or watch tv . Wetherspoons just a short walk away to get breakfast or evening meal at great prices

A great room with the most amazing view. The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and I plan to return later in the year. The room was spacious and clean, well appointed with thoughtful touches. The use of the kitchenette meant we could control costs during our stay too.

Basic but friendly, not a great entrance hall/ stairway but nice room.

Cramped staircase and doors were unlocked when we arrived,making us wonder about the security in accommodation with no reception area.

Very friendly and a lovely location very close to the beach and about 25 minute walk from the train station. It wasn't luxurious but I didn't need it to be, it was very comfortable and clean. As a single female traveller, I didn't feel particularly safe walking the streets behind the accommodation so didn't venture out at night. I would much rather give my money to a local business rather than multi-national companies so am pleased I gave my custom to this place.

The bathroom did have a slight smell of damp but as my bathroom didn't have a window, it wasn't surprising. The restaurant/cafe beneath the accommodation was unfortunately not open which was a shame as I would have loved to eat there but I think they possibly only open at weekends out of season.
