Torre del Califfo Amalfi Relais

Eccellente – Un soggiorno indimenticabile ad Amalfi Mio figlio è tornato da Perth, dove vive, e per l'occasione abbiamo trascorso alcuni giorni in questa bellissima location. È stata una scelta davvero perfetta! La struttura è ideale per 3 persone: gli spazi sono distribuiti benissimo, garantendo a ciascuno la propria privacy e il massimo comfort anche quando si restava a casa. Il vero punto di forza è il terrazzo: è stato magico fare colazione al mattino con davanti a noi la stupenda e spettacolare vista del mare di Amalfi. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca comfort, panorami mozzafiato e un'atmosfera speciale.

May i start off as how wonderful the host was. Gianluca was a fantastic host to begin with, even coming to your room to tell you the best places to go and eat, even giving little cards to use for gelato! When trying to enter the property you will get sent a very detailed, as well of clear instructions to follow how to enter the entrance, you have an amazing view from a nice location high up in the mountains if you like height. Location wise is perfect, you have a grocery market "about 8 minute walk" "restaurant bar 10 minute walk" and the beach is about 15 minutes. Bottom to get to the central of Amalfi is about a 20-25 minute walk, overall the stay was amazing and it was a great time with my friends. If you are looking to go to Amalfi coast and interested in staying at a location, I will always 100% recommend here. Now sadly i did end up breaking my phone or i would include pictures, have to admit you know it was a good trip when that happens.

i personally loved everything, if you aren't a fan of walking then you are mistaken. Has the best views when walking down to the beach or central, even walking up isn't bad, the hills might look big but when you are walking its not dramatic, now anywhere in Amalfi i noticed Ubers and taxis are pretty expensive for such a short distance, if you are okay paying uber X amount that would be only downfall about Amalfi coast in general, city buses are just as good and will take you from point A to B. Overall nothing i didn't like that i experienced.

Had everything we wanted including the view, comfortable beds, etc. Gianluca was a great host and very responsive.

It’s difficult to get into town. You have to learn the bus schedule and live by it to get up and down the cliff. Or, what I found helpful was renting a motor scooter.

This was a relaxing stay at the tower away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi. The tower itself was beautiful and full of lovely quirky aspects to it. Preserved the integrity of the original tower. All the facilities were excellent. Had a couple of BBQs which was so lovely, view of the med and the garden lights under the trees Gianluca was so friendly and helpful. Gave us great recommendations for where to go and restaurants I would highly recommend the tower for a lovely stay, although the bus to and from Amalfi can be a bit hectic but well with the effort We could not have picked a nicer place to stay on our last stop of Italy

The accommodation was beautiful and in a good location (around 20 minutes walk from Amalfi town) but there are regular busses nearby. Gianluca was very helpful and easily contactable. He was knowledgeable about the local area and gave us lots of helpful tips and advice.

Unfortunately the hot tub didn't work during our stay. Gianluca came by numerous times to fix it but was unsuccessful.

Nice place, good staff. They think about a lot even for us in winter it was nice yo relax here. You get a big place with cool views and designs

I had an adventure here with some of the facilities, it was fun sometimes but then sometimes I wanted to just relax and not deal with issues.

Beautiful watch tower converted into a home. Strikingly beautiful and unique features throughout. Great front view of the sea from a sizable private patio along with a BBQ grill and seating area on the side. Short steep walk to a nearby beach. Easy access to the bus stop and only minutes away from the center of Amalfi. Gianluca was extremely helpful and responsive before and throughout our stay, great customer service.

The front door lock needs repair along with the kitchen sink. The outside hot tub was a warm tub.

Great sea views and terrace. Outdoor dining. 4 bathrooms so we each had one! Ornate and traditional features made it quite unique.

Location was a little far from town and buses were not frequent. It was about 2km but the issue was the very narrow winding road you had to walk down with no real pedestrian pavement. The kitchen didn't have an oven and the sink didn't drain well.

Away from Amalfi but close enough to walk (25 mins). GAS bar is convenient nearby. Lovely terrace and comfortable bedrooms. Responsive host.

The attention to details. I.e no toilet paper (remedied quickly however), no washing liquid, no tea towels, 2nd room not made up so had to share a bed the first night.
