Pretty appartment close to Oslo

Location close to Oslo is great, and the host was very friendly & communicative.

The views from the apartment were heavily advertised up front, as well as the "beach access". In reality, it's a basement apartment without a view of anything except the surrounding plants in the garden, and relatively small and little windows. The beach is not a short walk away either. Also, the apartment was littered with instructions & warnings ("don't touch this light switch", "be quiet" above the table, "no sound between check-in and check-out", "don't touch this heater"), which didn't feel welcoming. Finally, although the amenities listed a dishwasher, the host made it clear to us via text that this is not supposed to be used by guests. Seemed more appropriate to remove this from the amenities, then.

Absolutely nothing.

Communication with owner. When I booked this place I have underlined that my plane is landing about 9 p.m. I knew that it would impossible to travel there to reach last check in time (10 p.m.) so I send a message to the owner and explained that I could be late. She said that's fine and the key will be waiting in the post box. Unfortunately my flight was delayed and my train that should take me to the place was canceled in Skøyen (about half way). I was late there and the key wasn't waiting for my so I was forced to sleep in the train station. It was a true nightmare!

We came to our best friends wedding by the sea and found this place which is very clean and beautifully surrounded with forest, nice walkings, train station 6min away by walk as well big shopping centre 20 min away. I really enjoyed my stay a lot there. Would come back again.

i would like to complain about that i made an appointment with the owner that I will be at 5am. owner said that there is no problem with that, but when I arrived it turned out that there is somebody in apartment and I can’t check in.
