Evanna House in Saint Stephanos

Fabulous location with great views over the bay from the balcony. Well equipped, spacious. Loved having breakfasts out on the balcony. Lovely quiet spot.

Not a fault of the apartment, but there was no sun on the balcony in the afternoons.

Excellent location to explore the north of Corfu. Great beaches within walking distance. Basic facilities but AC worked well and kitchen was well equipped.

Wasn’t sure where to put normal rubbish but worked it out. Parking was fine but not always available (August, busy).

The location is fantastic with beautiful views from the balcony down into the small village of san Stefanos.

Sadly we felt for 6 people it was a bit of a squeeze. The balcony isn’t really big enough to seat 6 adults - teenagers and adults in our party. The kitchen is very limited in what you can produce so we landed up eating out most of the time. The bathrooms are very dated and the trickle from the showers was very disappointing after a day in and out of the sea. They really need to invest in some decent ones. Although the bedrooms had great air con, the beds were literally like sleeping on concrete. So hard and uncomfortable. No give whatsoever so each morning you’d wake with back / hip ache. Definitely something they need to improve on. There are no notes supplied on the apartment so to find anything out ie where is the washing machine, clothes dryer I asked a very friendly gardener who was around. I had to leave a message for the apartment managing agent regarding our clothes getting stuck in the washing machine but never heard anything back from them.

The apartment is so spacious and traditionally Greek but not old fashioned. It is very homely. The location is so peaceful and views over the harbour and towards Albania are just gorgeous. Lovely tavernas and a couple of supermarkets within 5 minutes walk. My favourite (quiet) Avlaki Beach is just 7 minutes drive. There are a couple of snack bars with pools you can use within 5 minutes drive and also in Kassiopi 15 minutes drive away.

Leaving ! Noisy Greek night at one of the Tavernas every Saturday - booming Greek music well past 3am. However when I turned on the Air Con, it covered the sound.

Location in Agios Stefanos was perfect. The property had a stunning view over the bay and was an easy walk to the harbour which had plenty of idyllic restaurants to choose from. Hosts were very helpful and friendly, communication from booking was excellent and all queries answered quickly.

There were better swimming beaches elsewhere and it is a windy road to get to main road however we chose the location and knew this would be the case. In fact it probably adds to the charm as isn't overrun with tourists.
