Loved our stay at Kurmanchal! Tucked away in nature, far from the city buzz, it’s a serene spot for a relaxing break. Deewan Ji and the staff were warm and served us fresh, home-style meals. Plenty of parking space too. Can’t wait to return with the whole family!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Kurmanchal Village by THE GHAUR, and it was truly a refreshing and culturally rich experience. The attention to detail in showcasing the essence of Kumaoni heritage through the architecture, food, and hospitality was impressive. The environment is serene and beautifully curated, offering a perfect blend of tradition and comfort. The staff was warm and welcoming, always ready to make the experience more authentic and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—locally inspired, delicious, and thoughtfully presented. The road was not good to reach home. Drivers must be skilled to ride on such roads.

Nestled in the quite village of Kurmanchal, this stay is just perfect to relax at. Divyendo is one of the best hosts I've stayed with till date and his team are incredible - making us the best local food we've had and ensuring every bit of our stay was comfortable. Kudos to all of them. Will surely return and I highly recommend this pitstop for anyone in the Kumaon district.

Amazing homestay! Try village style location, offbeat, very well Maintained . Dogs on the property were a treat as they became best friends with my pet. My pet lived it. The walk to the local stream was excellent.

Bathroom were clean and basic not a problem at all. But for city dwellers like us, they can have a few more facility. But they were totally fine and usable

Its location. As the name says villagestay. It is a village stay close to nature where you can relax. Everything was perfect be it location, food, hospitality. We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. Special mention to Diwan Ji and his team who took care of us like a family. Highly recommended.

Very beautiful and authentic place lived their mud rooms ! Diwan ji and other staff are really good and their food is amazing !
