Sunbeam and Sundance Cosy House - Sleeps 14

Space was great for our group (10 people), we had plenty of room for people to sleep and perfect amount of seating for everyone in the communal areas. The bedrooms and bathrooms being ground floor was perfect for the members of our group with mobility issues. Very easy to walk to town, the beach or train station from the property, and plenty of parking available on the surrounding roads.

The garden terrace was lovely

The sofas were not comfortable but these are sofa beds so may have been why. There were not enough seats for us all to sit inside but thankfully the weather was nice enough to sit outside on the patio which was great.

Location is perfect for being able to walk into the town centre/beach - 10/15 minutes away. The house was clean & with modern bathrooms. Parking for one car. Spacious garden.

Some parts of the house look a bit tired - I appreciate it’s a rental but there are parts that could do with a touch up of paint. The 3 x rooms upstairs are quite snug (the beds are all very close or right next to the walls). Not a problem for children or small adults but if you’re a tall/bigger adult this might be a problem. The 2 x downstairs bedrooms are more spacious. There’s also not really a big lounge area for 8/10 people if you just wanted to chill out and watch a film together. However, if you want to play games/cards then the kitchen table is perfect. An umbrella in the garden too for shade would also be a great addition.

This house was ideal for a family get-together of 8 people. The indoor refurbishment is of an exceptional standard and everything we could want was supplied: storage space, bathrooms, kitchen equipment. The separate games room kept children of varying ages occupied and the garden with ample outdoor dining and 3 BBqs was great. The property can be divided so it would suit smaller groups as well.

On arrival the upstairs rooms were extremely hot having been closed down in the sun and took a while to cool down with the skylights open. The beach is a good walk but we found the solution of taking 1 car loaded to park at the beach.

A great stay in a very well equipped house that was light and airy with plenty of space. We loved the games room at the end of the garden that had comfortable sofas as well as table tennis and a football table. We were able to walk into town easily.

One of the showers didn’t adjust by heat.
